Possibly the 99% glitch?

I think I might have this, as I am going for 100% pretty soon. I have 1 unique stunt and 8 more hidden packages to go. Although I cant find the last stunt which is pissing me off badly. Could one of the 36 not have registired?

Or do I have the curse of staying at 99%? :scared:

I'm not convinced there is a 99% glitch. I've gotten 100% twice and on both occasions I had huge difficulty getting 36 jumps. I was stuck on 35 for an age. So I just went and did each of them again, and again, and again, and again, etc. etc. and eventually I got the jumps to register. The first time it was the jump down the long alleyway by Ocean Beach where you have to hit the ramp and land in the middle of the alley the other side. The second time it was the jump at the Malibu.

It's about halfway down the PCJ Playground alleyway. It's one of those little pallet ramps up against a wall. You need to hit it and land somewhere in the middle of the alleyway where you land. But it can be hard to get right. You've got a tendency to hit the awkward little corner on the right of the alley and wipeout.

But hey, I dunno which ones you gotta get. When you've got 35 out of 36 and you know you've hit all 36, then it's hard to know which one you haven't actually got correctly.

If it is that one (which I think KM mentioned) you should steer hard to the left just as you're about to hit the ramp, you should land fairly in the center of the alley on the other side.

If it isn't that one just do 'em all again. It doesn't take as long as you think it does. I would say start in Washington Beach, then move on to Ocean Beach, and you shouldn't forget about Escobar International, there are a couple of tough ones to register around there.

Don't forget the Malibu one (KM mentioned)-- to get this one to register easy, get a fast car and go north a few blocks---turn around and gun it, as you approach the sharp right turn ease over to your left and use the curved wall to turn your car (just keep gunning it)-- the wall will aim you right at the ramp-- it should register if you get past the trees on the other side of the water.

I also had trouble registering the second tall stairway ramp from PCJ playground--- need alot of speed (use crouch trick) and you need to land on the roof so you need to turn to the right a little as you go up the ramp.
