Possibly upgrading graphics card

I'm not sure whether to upgrade my current graphics card, a nVIDIA 7600 GeForce GS, but i'm getting degrading performance levels in GTR2.

In terms of budget, anything under A$200 is ideal. $300 if it's REALLY good.

Suggestions?

First of all, what CPU and RAM do you have? Also, does your motherboard use AGP or PCIe?

AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-core, 2GB of RAM on 32-bit.

Must be AGP, never heard of PCIe.

Well if you open the side of the computer up and it should be labeled. A nice way to determine if it's AGP is to see if it's brown and the fact it's set back a bit before the line of PCI slots.
