post 2.02 patch - offroad at laguna seca seasonal

Thought id post this to see if anyone else was noticing this or if something werid just happened in my game. On the stars and stripes seasonal at laguna seca i was getting little or no speed penalty for going through the gravel. I was even testing this by running wide at the last turn (which usually kills ur speed) and was similar to being on the track with possably a slight dip in speed. Anyone else have this issue (seasonal/free practice?) or was my PS having an off day yesterday

sorry meant more of loss of speed from going through the gravel (not an actual penalty)

These are Amerikan cars that we're talking about... these bad boys plow through anything in their way!!

I noticed the opposite while racing the GT500 Seasonal there. I got into the dirt at Rahal and plowed straight into the wall. Used to, you could actually make some time there on occasion, but this time the car felt like it was hydroplaning. I had the stick fully turned left and the nose hardly budged. I was actually pleased to see this. Before this, running in the dirt could be quite beneficial.
Interesting you are reporting the opposite following the update.
