You should probably search elsewhere for this. Try 911wheel.com or http://www.fanatecwheel.com/ to see some peoples rigs that are using Fanatec wheels.
I receive my Fanatec wheel on Tuesday after a very very long wait. I will be using it in a playseats.com evolution rig. It is a very sturdy rig.
I purchased the Fanatec wheel because it is compatible with XBOX 360 and PS3 and I prefer Forza to GT5 so I can't miss out on xbox compatibility.
If you only need PS3 and PC compatibility I would NOT recommend a Fanatec wheel as the customer service and follow up doesn't exist at the moment since the company is overwhelmed. Also there is an apparent quality control issue that they are having and when you couple that with the above mentioned it can be quite scary for customers who have issues since receiving support is very difficult.
I would highly recommend a G27 because of its quality and the abundance of modification that can be done to it. Or the Thrustmaster that just came out that is endorsed by GT5.
If you get a g27 and later decide you want XBOX support as well you can buy an adapter that doesnt work very well or you can pick up a fanatec wheel only and they are compatible with the g27 pedals!
