hey guys, i was just wondering if a 1.19 was a good time for monaco, I've been working on it for a while now. using the ds2, my wheels coming in a few days, that should shave off a few sec. Post your average times for monaco here.
 
1'19 in what? F1, LM car.........ect??????

My best legal "no wall touching what so ever" lap is a 1'06.894 in my black beauty 813hp F094/s.
 
in my f090/s car, yea no wall touching, got it in the mistral enduro...even if I tried wall touching would not improve the time, specially at monaco;)

also, is there a huge difference between the f090 and the f094 cars? and damn, 1'06 is a great time wish i was that fast:lol:
 
update: just got a 1'17.2xx on the enduro, got to play around with the settings

also, anyone know if this would be competitive for the formula gt championship, where I heard it was a 78 lap race?
 
Ah the F090/s I havent driven it in a while but the last time I was doing it in the FGT Monaco race I was lapping in the 1'09's and 1'10's. I think it may be capable of 1'08's but it could really use some horse power getting up the hill.

IMO it handels just a little less than the 94/s but its horsepower 725 really kills it when every other F1 in GT3 has 100 more hp to play with.
 
i am in no way jealous of skills, but sub 10s in the f90s are not possible. why do people feel the need to put a front for themselves online to feel better about themselves?

f1 cars today are still only lapping just under 1:15. thats 900hp, much more downforce, and better tires.
 
Todays F1 cars lap slower because the situation is very different. I don't think they'll push their cars to extremem limits and risk injuring themselves.
The lines taken are a bit different.
They have no traction controll. Even if they did... they'd probably be slower than the fastest times posted on the net.

Monaco is very tight. Cote is about x1.5 - x2 wider... which gives us players a lot more room to maneuver in. It also gives us a lot more run off ground to catapult our selves through corners. I don't think PD was able to accurately re-create Monaco because of licensing issues? So they had to change it enough to avoid legal trouble. Just a thought.

Namco's recent Ridge Racer game, I think, has a much more accurate re-creation of Monaco. In EA's F1 2002... I'm able to do 1.10.xxx hotlaps around their version of Monaco.

3rdgen: geez. 1.10's, 1.09's on the F090/S? Ah you make me cry. Heh

I'm in the high 1.08s with my blood red F094/S :)... with a series of 1.09's rounding out the rest of my records in the game.

I'll give the F090/S a spin later tonight.

Edit:
1.12.126 with the F090/S. Down from a 1.21.8xx that I had standing for little while earlier.
The F090/S feels strange. Both the steering and accelaration are sluggish (compared to the F094/S)... specially when you get caught braking as the car is upshifting.

Normally I wouldnt shove my foot up someones ass but since you say i'm making it up.... I dont see your name at the top or near the top of the F1 times in the databases, so you have no room what so ever to talk about what is possible or not if you cant even drive the car fast enough to realize its potential. Its been questioned and verifyed by Bobkart "gt3times" as 100% legit, no wall touches, and not a hybrid. I have pride and honor when I talk about times, you'll NEVER hear me or see me lie about any of my times.
BTW, I dont feel better about myself when I tell people my lap times. Now I do feel good about winning OLR's especially when they are Xport verifyed. Knowing that all of the top compettitors didnt cheat is good for everyone even if they didnt win.

Thats because this is a GAME, the F1's performance where EXTREEMLY over exaggerated from their actual real life counterparts. Also as Soul noted the Monaco in GT3 isnt the acutal real life Monaco deminsion wise and a few other small characteristics. Its very very hard to simulate real life conditions in a game. Especially if the car out performes its real life counter part in every way and the two tracks arent even the same.



Never say something is impossible, it will always come back and bite you. So a F090/s cant cleanly lap below the 1'10'?
I ran around Monaco for 45 minutes in the F090/s while working on a new setup since I didnt have one for the F090/s. Guess what 1'09.951 no wall touches, if I start drifting thru the lowes hairpin and would have made my entrance into the pool complex a little better then a low 1'09 or even a high 1'08 is possible. Xport replay is attached!!!!

Advan, you need to chill before you get yourself banned, 3rdgen is noteably the best GT3 F1 driver around, he has proof. If you had ever seriously tried to get even close to the times he has you would know the mental stress that comes when you're going around the last corner praying you finish clean.

No sweating over here, I like to fix most of my spelling mistakes. Kinda looks dumb to leave words cut off just because you dont want to edit your post.

So you think everyone who has ever submitted a time to any database is lame eh? Then why are you in the spot races and time comparisons forum if its lame in your opinion to be talking about times, that must me you are LAME. Good job contradiction pete.

Noone has this world figured out anyone who says they do is full of bs.

I dont have a crew on here either, its called fellow players respect. None came in here boasting about being able to do a time, nobody made fun of anyone who was running slower than them, the only person who came in here calling people names was you. This thread is about GT-Unit comparing his times at monaco to others.

You've show who the real spaz is, at least none else is resulting to cussing out everyone and throwing a tantrum.

I just got 1'15.948 in a F094/S, had some wall hits but I can't avoid those and carry anywhere close to speed in a corner, my hands are too shaky and I got all mad at hitting the wall and now I kinda need a new controller.
