Posting oddities.

Why do all of my posts come out with blank Quotation tags in the beginning?

You can't see them, because they're blank. But, all of my posts start a line down from the top, and when I edit my posts, I always find the quote tags at the top of my entry.

So...is there any way to get rid of them? This all started when I moved to firefox 1.5.
 
Maybe. It's kind of annoying me, though.

I've noticed it on your posts too.

What happens if you edit the post and delete the QUOTE tags?
 
I noticed that same thing on one of my posts yesterday...hmm...

I'm also using Firefox, but I'm still on version 1.0.7...
 
This happened to me some times a few weeks ago. But I think it's been normal since then.

If I do that, the post just goes like normal.
 
Not a clue. I'm using Firefox 1.5, and it doesn't do it for me.
 
If I recall, somebody encountered this problem a few years ago. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find it to recommend a fix. However, we are so close to an upgrade soon, just hang in there and hopefully the issue will be fixed in our next version. If anyone can manage to dig up that earlier thread, please let us know! I do believe I was able to figure out what the problem was.
