Power consumption

I recently put a 3rd hard drive in my machine, and it seems to be having some adverse effects.

After pluging it in, my screen needed to be re-adjusted as it had shrunk and moved to the left, Certain games wont run, and the screen still goes a bit skewif.

I have a feeling that the PSU is struggling to power all my devices and the GPU is losing out.

Is there any application that I can run that will show me the power consumption of all my devices so I can find out if there is too much drain on the PSU?

I don't see how an application like that would be possible unless they built some form of powermonitor thingy into the actual PSU.

I think one of those power monitors you insert between the outlet and the computer is your best bet...

how big is the PSU? I normally don't build anything with less than 400w on tap now...
