So I was doing he kei car seasonal for fun the other night and used a little power limiting to use my cappuccino. After each race, however, i always had to turn the power limiter up. Why does my car gain power, even though i have the limiter turned up?

The car gains power until it is fully broken in. In other words, when the car has reached the peak of the amount of power it can gain.

It's called "breaking in". Your new car will gain HP until you hit 180 miles, at which it loses hp.

Beat me to it

Engine break in, I've had this happen to me before too

Yep, they're all correct. Haha,I think it's a little annoying when I need to lower the power by .1 percent after every race though to do the next race.

I honestly thought it was a glitch and that the power limiter was just not that great a tool. Makes sense when you put 2 and 2 together though.

With a new motor that's going to "grow" I always wind it down about 1-2% before starting an event or seasonal, It then doesn't grow past the PP limit specified before you've finished that event.

This threw me last night, first time I ever had a new car at the PP limit and was left wondering wtf when the event said I couldn't enter the next race, so faffed about with the limiter.

I have had this happen to me on cars that are past their break in period. If you set the limiter 3 or so points below where it thinks it should be but still give
you the correct hp it will not do this to you. it takes 3 clicks to move it from one figure to the other before the hp changes. Stay within those clicks and it should't change on you to where you have to set it everytime.💡
