Don't know how to make a poll...

Yes or no?

I vote for yes.

For me, I'd like PD to bring the PP system in A-Spec for those who look for challenge, and without PP it is very difficult to match my car with AIs for fair races. Without PP, I will have to keep quitting my race and adjusting my car all the time which is annoying.

But I'd like this feature to be listed in "Typical Opponents" screen.

I'd like PP restriction races offline, I don't like how it's a primarily online thing.

I too would welcome the addition of PP in offline.

Wouldn't really affect most people since we finished A-Spec a long time ago. It also wouldn't change the fact we'd need to use a much lower rated car to have a competive race with the AI.

I finished A-Spec too, and I will race them again (if it has PP) for fun and get some cash.

I say "yes", but think it should be an option. Unfortunately I'm not finding GT5's career mode to be very much fun (unlike GT4, which I played through 2 entire times and most of a third and still find enjoyable today). There just isn't much to GT5's career mode, and most of what is there I don't enjoy. So the ability to run with PP restrictions in those events I enjoy would be great, but for events where I have zero interest? Well in those cases I would like to be able to overpower the field and just finish the event while spending the absolute minimum of my lifespan doing so... (You know, every time I start liking GT5, like with the 1.06 update, along comes a question like this one that makes me realize once again what a terrible job PD did in making an enjoyable game. In GT4, or Dirt 2, or Ferrari Challenge, or even Shift, I never got the urge to skip events. In all of those I went out of my way (where possible) to make sure I was more or less evenly matched with the AI competition. In GT5 the only event I've really enjoyed in the entire career mode so far was 4 hours at Nurburgring. Sigh...)

Or the fact you don't know which car will be in the race with you so knowing the most powerful possible car you will be up against is worthless.

I say "no".
I would like to be rewarded if I win a race with a slow car, but I want to race A-spec events with all cars belonging to a particular class: by drivetrain, manifacturer, nationality, year of production like now.

Also badly want back A-spec points like in GT4.

I say "no" to this.

I don't want to be restricted just because my car is too fast. If I just want to grind and get the race over it, I should have that option and if I want to challenge myself, it should not be an obligation. Considering that I have to get the Formula Gran Turismo Championship in A-Spec done and a lot of B-Spec done as well, I should be free to do it at my pace and my pace only.

I do agree that it should be optional for grinding.

Edited my first post.

I'm not in favor of PP restrictions in A-Spec, but I'd like the PP listed in the "Typical Opponents" screen. It'd take some trial & error, but that way you could figure out say, "I should run a car with 85% of the max PP in order to have a competitive race." Or 70% or 110% or whatever.

Yeah that's what I want. PP listed in the "Typical Opponents" screen. That's it.
