Practice tracks gone??

I did some practice laps with some cars at the LaSarthe track before Spec 2.0 came out (Like a month before).

I have installed 2.0 and this morning when I went to do some practice I have no tracks to select from!!

Whatever tab I choose it says "There are no tracks to select yet"

WTF???

That is very weird, I suggest reinstalling game data
 
I've got the same problem, have tried to delete and reinstall the data, but it doesnt seem to help.

Anyone have similar issues, or know how to fix it?
 
Well, the problem extends to arcade mode. No tracks whatsoever.
One thing I have noticed though is that in some events (mostly special) when I enter the event and before selecting the start flag I see some text towards the bottom left of the screen "_name\_category_name".

I don't remember seeing any text before 2.0... but this looks like a bug...
 
Tried removing the game save and starting a new one (after backing up).. same problem.
Now trying uninstalling the game.
 
UPDATE: Reinstalling the game from the disk (not accepting the 2.0 update) brings back the practice tracks. Restoring the game data works (the practice tracks are still there) but interestingly it seems that in the first version of the game (or should I say the disk version of the game) there was no PSN access. It does not ask to login and it tells you that the community menu is not available in that version when you try to access it.

Now to re-install 2.0...
 
Hi there, I have a similar yet complex problem.

On release, I have bought the full DLC pack (Track, Gear, Paint & Cars).
Got all the packs unloaded in GT5 and played with paints, drove with new car on new tracks, ect.
As I play daily, I get a 200% login bonus.

Three days ago, it was reduced to 170%, yet I had played previous day with 200%. Also my online greeting had reset to default and some cars had all their tuning undone ( even chassis stifness and engine tuning).

When I start playing today I can redownload all DLC except track-pack, so now I have all the DLC cars, special paints and outfits twice. But I have also lost the Space Kart track.

Since, I have reinstalled save game, Deleted Game data, reinstalled Game data, reinstalled diff save game ( I have multiple back-up files, 4 from last week).
Nothing worked, I cannot get Space Kart track back.
In PSNstore I cannot open GT5 DLC-page, because entry denied to user, yet everything else opens and i do have sufficient credit in acc to buy stuff.

Have no idea what is happening, but if I find a fix, I will let you know.

I use a track created using the Course Maker to test my cars, after Spec 2.0 I do notice that all my records were gone :S, it wasn't to bad for me since I like to test the cars an I can do it all again, but it was weird.

I have one to test the race cars and one for the road cars and on both the same thing happened, I think it has to do with the new climatic control since the game know recognize the track as a new one just for the new feature, I am just guessing not sure, nevertheless I enjoy using that feature is great to test the cars now on different conditions at the same practice :)

If you don' have the latest version the game, you won't have access to online racing/seasonal even or anything that requires you to connect to the server. You need to get the latest patch in order to go back online.

Please let us know the outcome, after updating to Spec-II...
Haven't had any issues my self, with 'no tracks' in Practice- or Arcade-mode.
 
UPDATE: Well, Downloading 2.0 did not trash the practice tracks. So that is good. I went for a spin on La Sarthe and there was something different about it... not sure if the coloring or textures are different ... I should know, I did the 24Hr race a week or so ago just before the 2.0 update came out.

The only thing missing, which I don't care about, are the practice times from before 2.0. I only had a handful I did for the 24Hr in order to select which car to use.
