Oh Dark Souls... We have such a long history.
I don't remember how I found out about Demon's Souls but it was after everyone beat it and the wiki was full of info so I beat that with my hand held by the guide pretty much the whole way. Then Dark Souls was coming out and I was keeping up with the info before release. It comes out, I buy it, and I'm immediately overwhelmed with options. At the time in my life I didn't want to invest in this thing so I stuck with racing games and Battlefield.
Cut to now, and I've never lost interest in the Souls series. I watched ever LP that Super Best Friends Play did, for each Souls game, Demon's and Bloodborne included. If Woolie and even Pat's blind as a bat girlfriend Paige can beat it then I could probably have a good time with it right?
Cue the Dark Souls Remaster. I was thinking about getting DS3 as it had basic improvements to game mechanics but otherwise "just a game" in the series with all the right beats hit. Dark Souls 1 is where it started and I think will give a better sense of accomplishment. Should be fun.
I guess I'll update this topic as I go through and anyone is free to comment on it or post advice, etc.
