Pre-order bonuses multiple users same console

My partner and I are both playing GT7 on the same console. I pre-ordered the Anniversary Ed but only one of us is seeing the pre-order bonuses. In other versions of the game multiple players on the same console all got the bonuses. I sort of presumed that would happen here.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

It worked for me. I have the cars on both accounts. Except for the money that is not shared.
