Pre-Order Code Doesn't Work

I, like many others pre ordered GT5 and wit it got a redemption code for 2 cars on the receipt. When I followed the instructions on the receipt, enter the code, it says please enter a valid code! Anybody else having this issue or know of a way to fix it...or did I miss something?
