Prefer Comforts and Sports over Racing tyres?

I am a member of the Grumpy British Racers Club, which is an excellent club with clean friendly racing using no aids except ABS. However, nearly all of its events use racing tyres and most other members consider me to be a bit of a freak because of my preference for racing with little grip.

The fun I am having doing the latest seasonal races using comfort softs has convinced me that I need to link up with some like minded people and arrange some racing on something other than the grippiest of tyres.

If comforts and sports are your cup of tea let’s give it a go.

I love low grip tyres. Like it says in the description in the tuning shop, comfort tyres are a great way to improve your driving skills. For experienced drivers it's a great way to hone your skills and to display your great car control. Add me for some good, low grip races

We race pretty much exclusively on Comforts & Sports at my race event: "Saturday Stock Car Series", you're more than welcome to attend, as is anyone who like it slippy instead of grippy!

Dont get me wrong they are a great bunch at the GBRC , but i just couldn't get into using racing mediums for cars that were less than 300 hp. (700 + bhp then fine).

There is plenty going on here and if i see anything i will let you know mate.

Other than on race cars, I'm not a huge fan of race tires either.
Drives me crazy when my friends jump in for an online race with 4WD cars, race mediums/soft. (the HKS it seems is their new favourite - hardly challenging this way). Lame!

Race tires can turn too many cars into slot-cars, as handling goes. No real fun there, to me anyway.
