BMW M4 Review: Verdict: For fun, not racing PP:510

-Overview: The M4: the newest M Series BMW to hit gran turismo. After driving around Monza with it a bit, I had trouble finding what makes this car so special. There's nothing it does particularly well nor does it do anything wrong. It's fun car to drive. It grips when you want it to and you can kick out the back when you want for some sideways fun. However there's a lot of understeer when you brake so if you're one of those aggresive, brake late and hard into a corner, you won't have fun with this car. Also, it doesn't sound particularly good. Most know that the cars in gran turismo don't sound great but this car compared to the rest is just bad. It sounds like air just whooshing overhead. And what was gran turismo thinking about making this cars almost un-tune-able? Yeah you can a few horses in the power upgrades but nothing too heavy. Speaking of heavy, it weight almost 1 and a half metric tons (3,300 pounds) and you can't lose any weight. Overrall, the car can be fun to drive, but it's only good for fun driving.

-Value:For it's price it's not a good buy. You can have just as much fun for less in the Lexus IS F '07, Megan Trophy racers, and for just ~46,000 more credits, and Audi R8 FSI '07.

-Noted Features: Expect them soon!

-Lap Times: Big Willow: 1:25.988 Apricot Hill: 1:33.153

Well there's my first review, if you guys want more let me know! Request a premium car (be as specific as possible such as adding it's year) and I'll do my verdict on it.

Ferrari F430 Scuderia: Verdict: Not bad, entertaining to drive, but take a look at everything else you can buy in the 540-560pp category for less money, weight, more power, and better handling. Almost anything's better in that category thanks to this luggish italian's handling. But those stripes... PP:549

-Overview: The 430 Scuderia ('430 team' in Italian) is the last, final hurrah of the Ferarri F430. One thing I noticed right off the bat was that it feels really heavy. It's not particularly a heavy car coming in at 1,350 kilograms (few short of 3k pounds) I feel this would have to do with the OUTRAGEOUSLY weak dampeners. See, the dampeners are what most people would call shock absorbers. They handle sudden jolts in the suspension and weight transfer. They're so soft in this car that the steering is lacking sharp movements and stability which compromises the handling at high speed cornering. Speaking of the handling, it's not particularly bad if you know how to work it. It understeers at low speed and if you turn tight enough at high speed you'll get traction loss in the rear and the back will kick out (equally fun and terrifing :D). Weight distribution is 44 front/56 back. That coupled with the weak dampeners and of course it being a heavy, italian, high riding(relatively) super car, it'll be hard to control but I think that if someone who knows how suspension tuning works in gran turismo 6, they can fix that right away. But could they fix the understeer...

-Value: Coming in at a few thousand over 300k, this super car, like most fancy italian objects and people is ready to empty your wallet at a moments notice. But there's a catch, for less money you can get yourself a more powerful and (assumed) better handling ferrari: the 458. Or you can go Japanese and get the perfect-at-stock Nissan GT-R Black edition '12 for not even a third of what you'd pay for the Scuderia. However, there is one thing that almost makes this car worth buying over anything else in it's 540-560pp category, and that my friends is it's double racing stripe. Seriously...that stripe itself is worth like 150k in this game...

-Noted Features: Expect them soon!

-Lap Times: Big Willow: 1:22.649 Apricot Hill: 1:30.329 500-549pp lap champion!

Lamborghini Aventador LP 700 Verdict: Excellent at stock PP: 583

-Overview: Ah, Lamborghini. How you always love to split me in two. The Aventador is...confusing... I never quite understood what role it played. With 690 horsepower, it's more powerful than anything else in it's category such as Ferrari and McLaren but...it lacks the sophistication they bring. You'd think with the new engine they developed for this car and the F-1 style push rod suspension teamed with the 4WD it'd be an outstanding car in this game but the truth is, it's not. Stock it's not bad to drive. It's fun, fast, and just an absolute joy to drive and of course to look at but add horsepower, drop weight, and add a body kit to make it even more menacing the thing becomes practically horrendous to drive. After adding a few horsepower you're going to do one of two things on this car: make it understeer (thanks to it's 4WD) or make it oversteer (thanks to it still being a big heavy Lambo). Sometimes if you're lucky you can get both. It's like the old Murcielago 640. You have grip right up until the very end where you push it too hard and you just lose it completely. Granted this isn't as profound as in the Murcielago as it is in the Aventador and you'd have to add a few horsepower to notice it quite often but the point of these cars is so that you save hundreds of thousands of credits in B class so you have them to use right up into i-b, i-a class which is why I just simply cannot recommend this car for anyone to buy and use it in this way.

-Value: Coming in at 400k on the dot, for it's horsepower you get a lot for your money but you're only getting the horsepower. Handling and tunability gets thrown out the window as soon as you step on the gas and hit 60 in 2.2 seconds. I've bought this car and used it for many races and it's only real opponent I've had trouble beating was the McLaren MP4-12C. The 12C is cheaper and will probably be a better buy if you're looking to tune cars and race with them but if you want the most fun wrapped in a car that's fast and easy to handle at stock, the Aventador is the car for you.

-Would like to point out that I've used the Aventador as my main supercar in GT6 so please excuse me if I am a bit biased but I feel I know more about this car since I've used it longer than the others I've reviewed so far.

BMW Z4 GT3 Verdict:All round great racer PP:592

-Overview: These new GT3 cars are really quite a nice addition into the Gran Turismo series. They're kind of a way to teach you how the top end racing cars perform with the handling but they don't have as much power so they're much easier to use. The BMW Z4 in my opinion is the perfect car for this. It doesn't have too much horsepower, nor does it weigh too little, too much and the torque makes you learn how to practice your throttle but it's not so much that it's difficult. I haven't tested all of the GT3 racers but the SLS GT3 has a fair bit more torque than the BMW and the Nissan does have that nice 4WD but with 4WD comes, of course, understeer. When I drive the BMW it feels like there's a ton of grip, it's stable, not too much understeer or over steer. It's just simply a great racer that you can also have fun with tuning. Also, I've noticed that if you don't know much about how the suspension settings work, this is a great car to start practicing with. It's just overrall a great car that's easy and fun to drive that's not too easy nor overbearing.

-Value: For a GT3 car, it's matched with the GT-R NISMO GT3 Base Model. This is a pretty good pricing as you can probably choose either of those for a good buy. Just depends if you'd prefer over-steer, get the BMW, under-steer, get the GT-R. They're both pretty cheap for racers and the BMW is a great car to begin learning how high powered lightweight LMP and Group C race cars perform.

-Noted Features: Expect them soon!

-Lap Times: Big Willow: 1:13.959 Apricot Hill:1:19.902 550-599pp racer lap champion!

-I have not driven the GT-R nor the AMG, just going on basic knowledge of 4WD and the effect of torque on RWD cars.

EDIT: Thank you to Azure Flare for pointing out the GT-R does not have 4WD. Please ignore any statement on the GT-R until further notice

Lexus LFA: Verdict: Near perfection lost in limbo PP:541

-Overview: I was expecting this from the beginning. The LFA is just absolutely perfect. It handles great, almost no understeer and just a tab of over steer but it's so manageable. The weight distribution and suspension is perfect. The car doesn't feel heavy nor is it to responsive to drive. You don't have to work it, you can sit back, relax, have fun and race at the same time. But there are a few problems with it. Now when you think of this car you would consider it competing with high end ferrari's such as the 458 and the lamborghini Aventador or possibly the McLaren 12C and the price for this car certainly encourages it but, it simply can't. Handling wise it's right on par of not better than all of these cars but for the power, it lacks it severely. Having 552 hp, it's not exactly slow but it's not super car fast. And to make things worse, you cannot add body kits on it. Add as much horsepower as you want and make it even lighter cause but don't think you'll be adding downforce on this car. If you're a hardcore tuning race fan, sadly, your perfect car just got ruined.

-Value: For super car price you get excellent handling but you lack the power. I really don't know what to tell you about this car cause the only other vehicles in it's category is the Gallardo, the GT-R and a 430. It's in a limbo between the flagship hardcore supercars and their less powerful lightweight models. Because of that I really can't say it's a bad or a good race car cause there's almost nothing to compare it to. The only bad thing about it is that depending on how you look at it and it's price.

-Noted Features: Expect them soon!

Aston Martin V12 Vantage. Verdict: Simple, easy, beginners/intermediate sports car that's way too expensive. PP:521

-Overview: This is somewhat if a hard review to write cause...well...this car has really no defining characteristics. While it has 509 hp, the 1,680kg (~3,700 lbps) slows it down. The handling isn't particularly exciting either. It's simple, easy, and you can oversteer it if you'd like but you have the option not to. It doesn't understeer much either so I guess that's a good thing. And it being an Aston Martin means it falls into that category of cars that many overlook in this game. It's up against BMW's, 'Jags, and a few of the low end Mercedes such as the SL600. I personally have never bought one of those cars to race in. I seem to go strait to an American car as my first purchase since they're cheap and you can add so much power to it, then I save up for an italian supercar, then get into the racing machines which leads me to believe, why would I want an Aston unless it's just for playing around in? And the price backs me on this.

-Value: At 217 or so thousand credits, it's outrageously expensive. Want to know what you can buy with that much money in it's same pp category? A '07 GT-R AND a Corvette C7 stingray, and then add 44 grand in upgrades to EACH car. Oh, and each car has more pp than the Vantage as well.

-Noted Features In my opinion the interior view seems a bit restrictive however you can see the instruments pretty well. The noise this car makes is amazing and it looks amazing too. The top speed definitely isn't lacking but it's not super car with a top speed of 10 or so mph short of 200. The handling was easy, basic, and had no defining qualities. If you're new to Gran Turismo and want to refine your handling skills but you have the money for it, this car is great for you.

-Lap Times: Big Willow: 1:25.297 Apricot Hill: 1:33.260

As requested by ALB123

Side not here, I tried separating the review into separate categories but I just couldn't do it. I felt closed in and it was impacting my review on the car. I felt like I couldn't put everything in there cause it didn't flow together. Also, I had a very difficult time reviewing this car as there, as I've said, isn't really any defining qualities of it.

BMW McLaren F1 GTR Review: Verdict: Too good or not good enough? PP:630

-Overview: This car is amazing. It's easy to use, it handles great, the oversteer is manageable, the understeer is manageable, everything about it is amazing. In fact, the only real bad thing about it is it's price, the low RPM (7000) and sometimes if you brake too hard and turn the back will kick out but like I said, for a racing car, actually even for a car, it's amazingly easy to control. Want to know something amazing about this car? It has 70 more horsepower than the Audi R18 and weighs only 50 kg more. And guess what, it's 200k cheaper too! Oh, and another thing, not only can you put a turbo on it, but you can do a stage 3 engine upgrade. Only way the R18 beats this car is it can have more downforce and it weighs a bit less. Seriously, this F1 GTR is possibly one of the best buys for your money in this game. It's amazing in every single way. BUT WAIT!! You can't race this against LMP's (Le Man's Prototypes) cause it's only better than one of the worst LMP's in the game. So that means you'll race it in those GT3 races. What does this mean? You're spending 1.8 million credits on a car that's almost as good as an LMP but you'll be racing it against GT3 Z4's, GT-R's, and SLS'. It's TOO good for it's class. In fact, it's really not even in a class. It's between classes. It's too good for one and not good enough for the other. However, if you do those tune ups i'm sure it can be a great competitor for LMP races. But only against stock LMP's. Don't go into a racing lobby with this thing maxed and expect to win any races against other tuned LMP's.

-Value: For what you get, it's a great buy. For what you'll be using it against, It's either too expensive or it must be tuned depending on what you'll race it against.

-Noted features: Remember this car is a standard car so it's not going to look as great as the other premium race cars. However if you can get past that and tune it up, you'll definitely have yourself a great race car that's cheap for the cars you should race it against in the single player campaign.

Delta Wing 2012: Verdict: Handling dream. PP:668

-Overview: You know those love hate relationships you have with that one friend? This car is that friend. Yes, it can have 1,500 units of downforce in the rear, yes it weighs 475 kg (1,047 lbs) That's where you're gunna love this thing. Where you're going to hate is it can only have 438 units of downforce in the front and you can't customize that. It has just 299 horsepower which you can only add a turbo to, the weight distribution is 33/67, and it can be unpredictably unstable. But that unpredictability, if you're a good driver, could actually help you. The back will kick out if you turn too tight, even with all that downforce and that's because this thing is so light and the weight distribution is so off where it should be. But, unlike any other racing car, you can use this to your advantage and turn even tighter with it. I'm not kidding. Highspeed corner and the back is losing grip? Oh great, now I can actually turn tighter! And already, this thing has amazing handling. There's nothing else like it (no one mentions the x1 here. no one.) You'll beat any Le Mans racer in handling, even if they had max downforce. But, sadly, it's hard to race against those cars if you can't keep up. You'll have the acceleration at first, but the turbo loses power in the higher RPM's causing some lag. Sadly, this thing just doesn't have the power to keep up with them and at Le mans racer price, it's not worth it.

-Value: This thing is in a class of it's own. Seems like I'm reviewing a lot of those but this car is no exception. The handling is just top notch. Nothing else like it. But the power just isn't there. In fact, for cheaper, you can get some of the high end racing LMP's in the game such as the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP, my favorite race car in the game, the Mazda 787B, Jaguar XJR 9, and more. Even for the same price you can get a more powerful version of the car, the 2013 model. And I mean come on, that thing is so shiny!

-Noted features: You'd think with just 300 hp you'll be way too slow. But, you're wrong. This thing is a 200 mph race car. Thanks to it's delta wing design, you'll get an amazingly low drag coefficient. This thing is fast AND grippy. Plus, it looks pretty dang cool. One of the more interesting cars in the game. Cockpit view is a little too obstructive in my opinion and you have a giant mirror in the right hand side of the screen which is just way too obtrusive. Remember the handling on this thing is amazing. Use the oversteer to make you turn tighter. It's hard to explain how it works, it's something you just really have to experience.

-Lap Times: Big Willow: 1:06.568 Apricot hill: 1:13.707 650-699pp racer lap champion!

As requested by SonicCharmeleon

-side note, try the 2013 version. It's more powerful so you'll probably have more power to compete with the cars this thing should race against. plus, it's so shiny!

Aston Martin One-77 Verdict: Beauty and a beast PP:580

-Overview: What else is there to say but "it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen" No alfa's, lambo's, pagani's, no tuner's car, no race car, nothing else on this planet that exists till the day this review was written looks better than this car. It's beauty isn't just skin deep either. Boasting a V-12 producing almost 750 horsepower means you won't be able to admire this thing for long because before you know it, it's already out of sight. Take it to a corner however and it's quite....unexplainable... The car weighs 1,630 kg (~3,600lbs) so it is quite a handful especially with the soft dampeners. However, this thing is amazingly tail happy. But it is quite controllable which is what brings me to my point:it's handling is explainable. It's almost like as you're turning the back is ever so slightly stepping out which tightens your turning circle. Much like that Nissan Delta Wing It has some X-factor I can't quite explain. I like to say this car is part of "The Big Three" Being the most expensive, most powerful, most exotic hyper cars in this game. The Big Three includes the One-77, Ferarri FXX, and Pagani Hyura. Each one of those being a different kind character. The Pagani is pure speed and crazy looks, FXX is a pure breed racer and then there's the Aston. What part does it play? It's lacking in every way from power to weight. This car my friends, is not a race car, it's not meant to for you to get from point A to point B in the fastest way possible. It's meant to get there in a way not many cars can. It's meant to get you there in that "X factor" way. You can't really put your finger on it. There's just something special about it that you'll enjoy. Just something you know you don't want to know cause it will ruin it for you. You'll love this car if you buy it for fun, but put any upgrades on it, any upgrades and you could ruin it. Adding too much power will could make that slight oversteer turn into full on crazy out of control fish tail. It's a give and give relationship. It's a perfect relationship. It wants nothing from you and it will give you everything. Keep it stock, that's my only advice.

-Value: It's the most expensive car in it's pp category that's not a race car. Costing more than the mighty W12 Nardo, Enzo, and CEIN concept. You could buy three Aventadors and have over 100k left over for one of these cars. From someone on a budget, this is definitely not the car for you. In fact it's on the opposite end of the scale. And considering adding any upgrades on it could potentially ruin it's special character, you'll mostly want to keep it stock. What you're getting with this car is fun and looks. 750 horses pushing almost 1.8 (u.s.)tons of pure beauty around the track mixed with special character I have yet to find in any other car in Gran Turismo. If you beat the game and are looking for fun, this car is for you.

-Noted Features: The name, One-77, means it's one of 77 built. This car was given to only the best and closest people to Aston Martin. And You get to own it in GT6 as well. The beauty is unmatched by any car. It's a status symbol in Gran Turismo. Showing up in it in an online lobby won't win you a ton of races but it'll let people know you have money and you can spend it for fun. And it's not just good for you either cause people can still enjoy the beauty of your taillights which they'll be seeing quite often if you find yourself on a nice, strait portion of the track where beauty transforms into beast.

-Lap Times: Big Willow: 1:22.672 Apricot Hill: 1:30.406

Bugatti Veyron: Verdict: Don't be stupid, buy it for speed cause it's only going to do speed. PP:639

-Overview: I remember saving up for this car in GT5 and then waiting for so long to have it appear in the used car dealer ship (aka, the dark ages) Only after I spent 2 million credits did I learn it's possibly one of the worst cars available. Not much has changed for it in GT6. If anything, it's worse. PD was nice enough to finally give us a premium model for the Veyron, but it's quite off since you sit kind of to the right of the steering wheel in the car. This throws me off when I'm driving and it is quite a bothersome for me. It's those little things which make a big difference. However, not everything about the Veyron is so little. Having a W-16, yes, two V-8's stuck together side by side to make a W with 4 turbo chargers, you get 987 horsepower at the disposal of your right foot. However, this is kind of set off by the immense weight of 1,888 kg (4,162 lbs) but it doesn't really hinder the strait line performance of the car. Where it certainly ruins the car is it's handling. Low speed isn't too bad, it's right around when you get past 60 is where it begins. I absolutely hate high powered 4WD cars. Sending more that 200 horsepower to the front wheels is going to murder a car's handling with understeer. If the torque sensor displays the amount of torque the wheels share when you put it on the car as it did when it was stock, it'll show us the veyron has almost 300 horsepower and 300 pounds of torque sent to the front wheels. And to top that off, you get no front downforce. You can't put a body kit on it and you're stick with 200 units of downforce at the rear. And once you hit high speed and the rear diffuser lowers, the steering is unbelievably horrendous and it lacks any feeling. I can turn my wheel, with force feedback, to as far right or left as it is made to turn, let go of the wheel, and it will stay there. The Veyron will ever so slowly start turning to the right- no, you know what, I can't even explain it. The handling is that bad at high speed. HOWEVER! This is a car made for high speed stability, not cornering. Showing this thing a corner would be like showing a minivan a strait-away and having it compete with Lambo's. It's not made for that and it would be idiotic to expect the car to fare well there. However, since you are getting about 700 horses to the rear, this thing can be fun to slide around corners at lower speed and since you'll have 4WD, you'll be safe doing so.

-Value: For 2 million credits you really don't get much. For a total of roughly 700k, you can buy an Aventador, add body kits and tune it to the max and then have a better handling car (yeah, that's how bad the handling on the Veyron is) and a faster car. Yes, a faster car. The cars the Veyron is up against in it's category are those such as the Zonda R, Mazda Furai Concept, McLaren GTR and the Pikes Peak Quattro. Unless you want just complete stock speed, any other car in this category is better than the Veyron.

-Noted Features: It's one of the most powerful stock cars in the game with one of the highest stock speeds in the game. The interior view set, at least, me off quite a bit as the wheel is in the left of the screen, not in the center like in oh idk, almost every single other car in the game. The audio sounds nothing like the car in real life. You have two V-8's stuck together, you should get a low, lumpy camshaft rumble but instead you get some weird italian super car exhaust note. There's only one race in the game's single player where the Veyron will own almost if not everything and that's in the "Like the Wind" series race, Route X. When braking with the rear diffuser, in real life at least, it can generate as much braking force as a ford fiesta. A lot of people think the Hennesy Venom is the fastest production car in the world, but while it is faster than the Veyron SS, it is one model short of being called a production car. This was a complication for a while in the world records books, but after a few weeks of the veyron being stripped from it's title, it is now reinstated as the world's fastest production car.

Hyundai Genesis: Verdict: Ask yourself "why would I buy this over those" PP:465

-Overview: Cover the children's eyes cause the ugliest car in gran turismo is about to pass! (now now, standards cars aren't all that ugly) Just...why...why am I reviewing this...what could possibly posses someone to put me through this torture?? I've done BMW's, race cars, Veyrons, people want to see those but why this?? Why would someone want to buy this?? Yes it's better than that terrible Honda Fit but who would go from a Honda Fit to a Handai Genesis Coup that's uglier than all your distant relatives?? Why not get a Subaru or a Mitsubishi Evolution? They're around the same price, they look better, and they're real sports cars. Yes this thing has more power than them (has 343) but they seem to be just as fast! I'm not kidding, Hyundai, stop trying to make sports cars! Seriously, whoever was designing this, did he ever just take three steps back and think "oh my...what did I just do..." You know they say that when you look at a car crash, you want to look away but you just can't. If this thing was in a car crash, you'd look away cause it already looks like it been in a car crash. *sighs* ok, enough about the looks, my rant on looks is over. For a sports car, it is kind of sporty. You can get oversteer from it but there is a good ammount of understeer. I bought and tested a 2010 IMPREZA sedan WRX STI and it felt just as fast but less understeer which is saying a lot since it's a 4WD car. I know it doesn't have a ton of power but a 4WD car should always have more understeer than the front wheel drive car. I think I'm just used to driving cars with 450+ horsepower but that IMPREZA just felt faster than the Genesis. It looks a hell of a lot better too but things that look better than this car includes...well almost anything you can think of that's down right disturbing. I'm not saying it's a bad car, what I'm trying to say is there's just no reason to buy it. Go American for your first purchase. Skip all other brands. If you buy American you can put so much power in the car that you can use it right up until you purchase your first super car. After taking it around Willow I learned that at low speed's the handling can be responsive and you have grip even with soft suspension but at at the higher speeds is when the understeer becomes very noticeable. It's not a bad car, it's just why would you buy this over all the other sports cars that are out there.

-Value: Be prepared to be amazed here because I'm about to tell you why you shouldn't buy this car with a question (shocking news ahead!) Are you ready? Why would you choose this over an evo 10, an impreza, a skyline, a comaro, an RX-7, or a Z34 fairlady? They're all around the same price, they all look better than the Genesis, they're all decent sports cars, they all have that oversteer fun, they're all for beginners looking for learn how to drive, they all practically do the same thing so why, just why would you take a Hyundai Genesis over any of those?? I don't see the point of this car, Hyundai doesn't make sports cars, nor does it make a good looking sport car when it tries. Go with the classic, good looking sports cars like 370Z's, or RX-7's.

-Noted Features: It's uglier than any car in gran turismo. Sorry, had to get that out of the way first cause I hadn't mentioned it before. It does have a fair amount of horsepower, I'll give it that, almost 350 horses is a fair amount but it's pretty heavy. Oh yeah, it's also pretty dang ugly :D

-Laptimes: Big Willow: 1:29.010 Apricot Hill: 1:37.252

-Side note: I'm writing this with a migraine so please excuse me if I seem crabby :)

Shelby Daytona Coupe: Verdict: PP: 535

-Overview: I am....shocked... I was not expecting this car to be this good. I was expecting it to be that classic RWD American car with loads of torque, terrible handling, and over-steer when you go near the throttle. I was quite surprised to see when testing this car that it has some of the easiest handling on any car I've ever driven in gran turismo. There's very little under-steer and the only way you can get this thing to over-steer is when you try. There's loads of grip, but there's not too much. You don't feel like you're driving a Le Mans racer but you know you have downforce. It's really nice to drive. It's great to take a break from 600+ horsepower Italian super cars and GT3 BMW's and sit back and relax while driving a car that's simple to drive but has enough horespower that you don't feel like you're going too slow. The only real time you'll feel like you're moving slowly is through first gear. The length of the first gear is the worst aspect about this car which isn't really saying much since you'll only notice it if you spun or if there's a grid start. You can reach almost 70 mph in first gear and with a car that has just 4 gears that's not really surprising but it can be a bit annoying sometimes. You may be wondering why I didn't say the price is the worst aspect of this car and that's because if you're spending 4.5 million credits on a car that's a classic racer and competes with lower end super cars and and touring cars, you don't really care about money at that point. Overall, it's a simple, easy to use race car. It's nice to sit back once in a while and take a break from racing beasts and drive a thing of class beauty that's really not that slow nor too fast.

-Value: 4.5 million credits. Need more be said? Well I'm going to say more anyways. What you're spending 4 and a half million credits on is classic America history. If you're American and you like racing, you'll know we had a great bond in the past. Seriously, go look up the heritage on this car. You're spending 4 and half million credits on a story almost no other American brand can compete with that you get to drive.

-Noted Features: Back in the day, ya know around early 1960's, this class Le Mans racer has a top speed of around 190 mph, faster than the legendary Ferarri 250 GTO. Now for the in-game aspects about the car. When you're driving in the cockpit, everything has a slight greenish-blue tint to it due to the glass. You can't do burn outs in the car stock since the first gear ratio is so long. It's also the most expensive car in it's class.

-Laptimes: Big Willow: 1:17.152 Apricot Hill: 1:23.109 500-549pp racer lap champion!

Old/new Camaro reviews Verdicts: PP: 450 (old) 498 (new)

-Overview: How far have we come from our old cars in the era of 'nam, the cold war and the space race? How have our technologies advanced and excelled our sports cars? Well...it's actually quite a simple answer in the case of the Chevrolet Camaro. That answer is more, just more of everything. More power, more weight, just more more more. Driving the old Camaro I was expecting a bit more out of it. I wanted that classic muscle car torque and wheel spin that's not afraid to murder you when you use it all with that heavy foot you have but I got nothing from it. No wheel spin, no oversteer, nothing of the like. It's when you look closer at the numbers you notice why. With just 289 horsepower and 290 ft-lb of torque it's really not that surprising. Now what's not surprising is the handling; it's terrible. Absolutely terrible. There's understeer, a lot of it and no oversteer. Now how have we handled this over the years? Is the new Comaro any different? Well, it's a little complicated because we, us Americans, didn't really do anything for the handling. The Australians did. The new Camaro SS sits on a chassis designed by the people who, if I'm remembering correctly, designed the Vauxhall Maloo. Apparently us Americans had to go to the Australians for a bit of sophistication...BUT IT WORKED! The new Camaro handles pretty well, not just compared to the old one but in general. There's not a ton of understeer nor oversteer and with over 400 horses you can have fast paced fun as well. We've come a long way from a time of VW vans and I'm glad we've made improvements...or well...the Australians made them for us I guess I should say.

-Values:
For your money, you're getting a good deal for the new car at least. If you're still making your way through the game, don't bother buying any classic cars to race with for a while. Yes, they're fun to have a nostalgia to drive but when you're on a budget, the old Camaro is possibly one of the worst cars you can buy for your money in it's PP range. The new Camaro really isn't that bad and since it's American you can load up on horsepower, tons of it AND since it has some Australian "sophistication" it really doesn't handle that bad. It's in the range of Dodge Challengers and Charger SRT8's and all of those cars really aren't that bad but the Camaro is cheaper than them which makes it the cheapest car in it's category.

-Noted Features:
The old Camaro was suppose to be GM's answer to the Ford Mustang. Sadly, it failed horrendously. The new Camaro is actually kind of outdated in GT6. Where's the ZL1 or the Z28? But it's still not a bad car in this game. At idle it kind of sounds like a deisel semi trailer.

Ford RS200 Verdict: So much fun, so much price PP: 432

-Overview: This thing is an amazingly fun car. It's like one of those rowdy dogs that don't shut up and constantly jump around and spin in circles. It's excited and fun to corner. When it see's a turn, it goes all out ADHD. Go too fast in a corner and you'll get understeer of course but go even faster and you'll get an amazingly fun for wheel slide that's sure to keep a smile on your face. I wish gran turismo would let you start out with this thing rather than the dreadful Honda Fit. I'm serious, this thing is that fun that I'd be happy to start with this car. It's a rally car turned commercial so it's still light, sporty, and amazingly controllable yet fun. It's about time I've found a car that's not particularly fast that's amazingly fun to drive. It's a perfect car for beginner-WAIT! 160k price tag?? WHY POLYPHONY WHY!! Ok, let me get a few things strait, it's standard, it has one of the more annoying engine sounds in the game and it cost 160 thousands credits! The fact that it's a standard and the the engine noise sounds terrible, I can get past but why does it have to be 160 thousand credits?? I don't get it! Ok, I understand that it's a rally car turned commercial but does that really mean it has to be 160k? Is there something I'm missing here? It's a fun car, yes, and if you're like me and you can get enough money to pay for two of these in 6 minutes you don't care about the price but shouldn't this thing be for beginners? It's around some RX-7's, Clio V6, S2000's and even a Ford ST. Don't get me wrong, I definitly love this car, I hope it becomes premium in the future cause then I know i'd have so much fun with it but just why does it have to be 160k. I don't know, maybe I'm missing something here. But once again, if you're like me and you're looking for money to blow, this car is definitely for you. Honestly, if polyphony would get rid of the Honda Fit and let this be the first car we use, that would be amazing. It's so much fun and it's a perfect starting car for people looking to tune cars but this probably won't happen

-Value: I think I've complained enough here but what must be done, must be done. Coming in at 160k on the dot, it's the 3rd most expensive car in it's category only being out priced by that landrover SUV concept and the 240RS rally car. It should be a perfect car for beginners but it's ruined by the price. It's a pocket size piece of fun that takes up all the room in your pocket by emptying your wallet.

-Noted Features: For those of you who don't know, the noise the engine produces and the noise the exhaust produces are two very very very different things. What you'll mostly hear if you drive in 3rd person is the exhaust. You know that low rumble you'll get from American cars or that high pitched symphony you'll get from Ferrari's and Lamborghini's, all of that is mostly exhaust. In this car however, what you'll mostly hear is the engine. That mechanical whine is all engine but there's also a touch of the exhaust note. It's quite an interesting sound which I personally find a bit annoying but I'm sure others out there would love the exotic sound. If I'm remembering correctly there's about 200, give or take, of these things made making it quite a rare sight today. If you do the math, that's not even 29 cars per continent in average.

-Laptimes: Big Willow: 1:29.279 Apricot Hill: 1:37.727 400-449pp lap champion!

Murcielago_SV_by_dangeruss.jpg

Lamborghini Murcielago 640/670 DUAL review: Verdict: Uncivilized got a bit...less uncivilized.

-Overview: The old Murcielago, the 640, is quite a very terrifying car. Absolutely terrifying. Every corner you take you'll wonder if you'll make it to the other side. The 4WD on it is a very stupid system. You have loads and loads of grip but push it a small amount over the limit and you instantly get that feisty Italian saying "No racing driver! I will not have this! This is too much work for me and you must be punished!" And punish you it shall as you meet that old friend of yours back in those old days when you didn't know how to drive, the wall. Yes my friends, what you're paying 385k for is to relive the good ol' days but with absolute terror. However, after a while of driving around the track, there comes a moment, a perfect moment, where everything falls into place. You know how much grip it has to give, you know when you tap that apex you're going to go all out and you know the car wants to. There comes a moment when you reach nearly perfect driving bliss. You practice and you practice until you get to a point where you're doing 4 wheels slides out of corners and you're doing it in style. Not only does it make you look good but you're driving pretty dang fast as well. It's a car where you can easily reach the limit and within doing so it rewards you with some great driving experiences but take it too far and it will murder you, carelessly, slowly, terrifyingly and without mercy. But hey it's pretty easy to drift around corners so that's a plus.
670 SV: So has this changed for the new 670 SV? Yes....aaand no. First let me give you some backround on the car. So, the full name of the car is Lamborghini Murcielago lp 670-4sv. The SV means "sport velocé" It's what Lamborghini names all of their hardcore model cars. It's named the 670 because it has 660 horsepower, well done Lamborghini. I'll be fair though and say they use units to measure power over there. What they use I forgot but just now that horsepower is the correct way because I say it is. Anyways, back to the car. It's gained power, loss weight, and new bumpers along with a spoiler. What does this mean? It wants to spin out like the old one but it has trouble doing so. Now what does this mean for you? You're getting a bit more understeer instead of complete terrifying madness. You can occasionally still get that 4 wheel slide but that "moment" I was talking about earlier is much harder to come by with this car but there will be less frustration that comes with it because chances are, you won't be spinning out as much.

-Value: Both are almost 400k. I really can't tell you that this is a good buy or a bad buy. The cars are amazingly fast and can be if used right but they're so complicating and frustrating sometimes. If you want more simplicity with cars around their price range, go with a McLaren 12C or maybe even a 458 if you'd like. They're just such complicating cars to drive but they're so fast.

-Special Features: The Murcielago was Lamborghini's last flagship model to use their old engine design. The design has been in use since the Miura, the car that revolutionized the super car platform by using the mid engine design. And that's really all that I know about the car...um....the doors open upwards...

-Laptimes: 640: Big willow: 1:24.569 Apricot Hill: 1:31.427 670 SV: Big Willow: 1:21.261 Apricot Hill: 1:29.355
