Premium members: links to Trading Post threads ok?

So, I've just gotten a premium membership because I've been here for so long and use it so much that I thought I should, and I've just realised I can use the Trading Post now. I want to start selling a home made button box/custom controller for the PS3, so I'm currently writing a post detailing what I'm offering in the Trading Post, and I'm just wondering if it's ok to link to a thread in my signature and (possibly) future posts I make where it's appropriate, for example, if someone wants a solution to the unmappable buttons on a G25, my product could help.

I know it's advertising but as it's already on GTP, is it ok to draw attention to a thread that may otherwise go unnoticed? And is it ok to start a thread in the Sim Racing Hardware forum about it? I'm guessing this is a grey area so I'd just like some clarification before I get banned!

Advertising the product in the Sim Racing Hardware forum would be across the line, but you're welcome to link to your Trading Post thread in your signature. This is, indeed, quite a gray area as commercial postings are forbidden in the Trading Post, but I think your company/product is personalized enough that it's OK in this instance.
