Tought it would be good to make a thread about the premiums that you can buy interesting bodykits for in GTauto. (standards have them also in some cases?) I'm not just talking about plain black rear spoiler now this is not the point, i mean front spoilers, sideskirts and diffusers or rear spoilers that are worth mentioning as they seem especially crafted by PD for the car.

Would be useful to know wich cars can be "pimped", as taking them all to GTauto to see if you can actually have cool bodyparts installed is quite time consuming.

So far i have 4 candidates already:

-Volvo C30 R-Design 09
-Citroen C4 Coupe 2.0VTS 05
-Clio Renault Sport V6 24V 00
-Volkswagen 1200 66 (You can take off the chrome standard spoilers there to give it that street kit look i've seen on many pics)

Suzuki Cervo! This is the funniest body kit in the game. Big F1 wing on the roof, long shovel under the front. :)

Lamborghini Gallardo, Nissan 370Z are on top of my head. The Camaro also has a nice body kit.

Mazda Autozam AZ-1 :dopey:

Absolutely.

Brilliant, this one is.

Are we talking whole new front/rear bumpers and wings or just splitters/diffusers that aren't over the top and look good on a particular car?

I thinks is weird that VW Golf IV GTI '01 does not have any bodyparts

Yes it does ;): (check out the racing mod).

Are we talking whole new front/rear bumpers and wings or just splitters/diffusers that aren't over the top and look good on a particular car?

As long as the parts are original for the car, and make it look distinct from the basic version (not the black mounted rear spoilers as you can fit these on 80% of the cars in the game including the standards).

The Honda Integra Type R DC5 bodykit is one of my favourites. De-badged front grills...

I don't know, i really hate the bodykits for the Aventador, but the Gallardo on the other hand isn't too bad, and can really make Gallardo look like a track racer.

The TVR Tamora has a nice body Kit. The AMG C63 has a nice DTM-ish body Kit. I can list more when I get home. Also the Nissan GT-R looks like the prototype 24 Hour race kit that Nismo developed before selling the parts on the market.

A quite nice looking bodykit which in my opinion really improves the look is the one for the Honda Insight, makes it look a bit (just a bit) like an imaginary Citroen concept car that never was.

Others that I really like are the Honda Integra (especially the front treatment), Civic Type R, CR-Z and S2000, Mazda MX5 (Roadster RS) '07, Suzuki Cervo, Daihatsu Copen, Volvo C30, Fiat 500 (new one) and Toyota 86 GT '12.
I really like both options for the MX5, C30, 500 and 86 GT almost equally.

There are a few more which look better (or acceptable) with a bodykit but also plenty which look worse and which bodykits are really hideous to look at, at least to my eyes.

What Body kits are we talking about? the spoilers and the wings? lololol

The things like new bumpers, sideskirts mostly I guess, some basically 'restyle' the entire car.
I hardly put any wings or spoilers on my cars though, with a few exceptions where they do look nice (and/or can use the downforce) or are so ridiculously exaggerated like the ones for the Beetle and Nissan March that I simply couldn't resist putting them on some examples.

The Cappuccino has 3 full sets of aero (front/side, rear and wing) and one of them looks like they stole the canards from a Voltex Evo.

Let's see...

I know the R33 has a LOLWUT front splitter,

generally, the premium Kei cars have great looking kits, the Cappu and the AZ1 off the top of my head. Plus the Cappu has to have the BEST looking RM ever.

The Supra III also has a lulzy front splitter, but it, along with the XK, have kick-ass diffusers.

The Subaru GDB has a Lancer-WRC style wing that's mounted over the rear fender (i'll have to dig through my original flickr to find it), i personally love that look, but i know it's not to many peoples liking (it's like the one on the EvoX TC)

a lot of the high end euro supercars have subtle kits that look awesome, the F430 and Gallardo off the top of my head.

I do like the FD2 Civic's kit as it's one of the few that actually change the front facia (the bumper vents actually change rather than a lip spoiler)

I really love the body kits on the Dodge Viper GTS and the Chevrolet Corvette C5.

I usually don't put these thing in my cars, but some do look nice. One that is worth to mention is the Cappuccino.

Looks very natural. It's the only car I have with a full body kit on. I love that the kit blends perfectly with the car's shape and it doesn't look exagerated at all.

Another one would be the Mustang GT. I like the fact that the skirt is black. Combined with a dark color, it gives you a feel like if the car has a lower body height(like flatter) which is perfect for that old muscle car look. Now, if only we could take that wing off...
