Pressure sensitive buttons all around?

Good day all! Long time GT player here! I've noticed the change within the button layout in GT Sport, along with taking pressure sensitivity away from buttons X and Square when they're switched to gas and brake. As mentioned previously, I'm a long time player so adjusting to this is really going to take some time, unless they implement sensitivity when switching to x and square for gas and brake. That of/on feeling just throws everything off for me IMO. Anyone else feel the same way about the switch up on the controls like this?

I thought dual shock 4 version 2.0 featured pressure sensitive buttons?

Are you playing with an original controller (from the ps4's release) or with a DS4 2.0?

I don't recall that being a change? Would be wonderful if true, though.

My dual shock 4 2.0 is pressure sensitive. I use a T500 for GT tho and haven't tried a controller yet in GTS.

Either GTS doesn't support DS4 2.0 or L_Atkins doesn't own a DS4 2.0 (dual shock 4 2.0 controllers can be recognized by the small lightbar at the top of the touchpad).

Both of my DS4's are version 2.0. Is there any link out there discussing this? If so, I may switch to face buttons full time!

Mine has the light bar across the touchpad. I do have the previous PS4 controller as well.

But I don't think GTS supports it. I'll switch controllers to find out.

Hello, I have a particular question:

I've discovered that with the Brook Super Converter (PS3 controller to PS4), one can use PS3 controller with PS4.

My question is that with the Brook Super Converter attached to PS4 with the Dual Shock 3, will the PS4 will be able to register pressure on the face buttons. I 'm quite curious about it.

I've asked this questions on Youtube. One have said that the programmers haven't implemented face buttons controls because PS4 controller itself doesn't has any. And the other is not so sure if it carries over or not.

I'm starting to believe that PS4 controls is both hardware and videogame itself are programmed specifically for Dual Shock 4 and that even with the Brook Super Converter, the PS4 still registers Dual Shock 3 as Dual Shock 4, so the PS4 will overlook the analog controls of Dual Shock 3.

I haven’t done this, however, so there’s that possibility it or couldn’t work, most likely it will not work.

But I'd like your thoughts about this. Thank you all for your time.
