Not sure what to call it, but its a different way to eat hot dogs

EDIT: "Bulls In A Blanket"

Serves 1

1. Cook 2 hot dogs as usual

2. While theyre cooking, take 2 slices of bread and flatten them with a rolling pin, until they wont get any flatter

2.5. If you want condiments on it, spread lightly on bread

3. When the dogs are done cooking, roll them into the flattened bread

4. Place the rolled dogs in toaster oven and proceed to toast for approx. 2 minutes (times vary, toast until very, very light tan)

5. eat them
 
Funny. The boys and I just had something very similar two hours ago for lunch after a swim.

Take two Hebrew National hot dogs and nuke'm for two minutes. Put them in hot dog buns and add mustard. Squish the hot dog buns very tightly around the hot dog until you get most of the air out of the bun. Eat and enjoy.

i did the same thing a week ago at a cookout, and that led me on to this idea. lol and i use hebrew nationals too!
 
Hebrew National makes some awesome dogs. As do Kosher's best and Vienna Beef. They're way way way better than Oscar Meyer or Ballpark

Just to let you know, I posted the same pic and it got taken down.

To stay on topic, I invented a bacon wrapped jalapeño popper stuffed with cheddar cheese (no breading). I called them "Bangers" which went good with "Poppers" I felt. Turns out, somebody already invented it and called them ABTs (Atomic Buffalo Turds.) I like bangers, better.
 
I had never heard of this. I'm gonna have to try it sometime. 👍
 
Yeah,i think its good of you to take down that picture.It was sick to my stomach :yuck: .But my school made this type of food for many years now.Its called "roti hotdog"(or hot dog bread in english) taste quite nice actually.All this talking of food makes me hungry *stomach growls* :sick:
 
Pigs in blankets are hotdog sausages wrapped in bacon and cooked. And they're blooming gorgeous!

Even better, you can slit the sausage and put some cheese in before wrapping the bacon. Yummmmmmmmmm :D

Okay, this would make the third thing I have heard called this.

I have seen link sausages rolled in pancakes called this and then my mom rolled hot dogs in crescent rolls and baked them and called them this as well.
 
You have no idea! And any type of sausage makes excellent pigs in blankets. So there.
