Previewing reply strips attachment

I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but if you add an attachment to a post, then click "Preview Reply", the attachment is not carried forward.

Therefore, if you attach a file, then Preview the post, then forget to re-attach the file, you lose the opportunity to add that file to that post.

Is this intended? If not, is it an easy thing to fix?

I'm pretty sure this will be fixed in vB3. An unofficial code modification regarding this has been posted, and I could implement it if it was frequently causing you trouble, but there have been reports of it slowing up newreply.php quite a bit and the installation itself is a bit heavy.

Well, as you know, I've been here 15 months, and this is the first time I've noticed it, so it's not a major issue for me! I just figured it wasn't right and that you might want to know about it.
