First of all, here is a printable Spec Sheet that helps tremendously. My advice is... print out about 10 of them and then flip them over and print on the other side. I hope it helps out.

Secondly, I’m so frustrated with online racing. I’m slowly building up solid, clean racing friends, so, that is helping. But I can go online, look through 100 online races and I keep refreshing by looking for the right races. It seems 90% of competitors are either racing: Karts (I’m on level A-Spec 33 and B-Spec 32 and yet to race one of these karts); Drags: come on... are you serious? DRAGS? I can’t wait to get to level 40 so I can go DRAG MY CARS! Pffft.... what a joke! Ovals: The first thing I did when I earned my F2010 was go race at Daytona and Indianapolis.... NOT! I like NASCAR, but I hate these cars on the ovals, but these cars are great on some of the road courses. Red Bull X2010: Oh it’s so fun to go beat other racers with this car and say, “look at me... look at me!” Perhaps there are some fun uses for this unrealistic car in the future (I doubt it), but I’ve yet to meet a guy driving one of these that is not an a-hole dying for attention! I guess I am guilty to a point, I use this car to beat up on B-Spec BOB’s, but I do turn off my TV and I don’t shout down any of the BOB’s! Oh wait... I finally found a room with 16 solid racers and 540/1,100. Ooops! Penalties are off, slamming is the norm with damage off, all aids are on (nice blue line), and track cheaters are plenty. I get pissed off and then I think to myself, “why the hell am I in this arcade race in the first place?” Oh, it’s because finding a great race is tough! I’m hoping it pans out in the near future. What happened to Prologue where you actually had to pass certain licenses to actually race the car/class you are driving online? LOANER CARS IN THE ONLINE LOBBY? Another joke! I do race in a league, hosted by Sproesser, on Monday nights, and he kicks are our asses weekly. But, slowly getting better with the great competition, clean racing, real racing aspects on, and with no aids. I’m not a great racer yet, but again... getting better. Great competition makes one better.... just not overnight. If anyone feels the same as I, please feel free to add me and let’s have good, clean, fun racing. We are few updates away and a few months away from this game being perfect.

Oval racing can be fun, I just make everyone use the same car. Sometimes the battle can really get heated, and watching a big pileup behind you is awesome.

My advise if you really want to race online proper...get a half decent PC and visit www.racedepartment.com. There are some other sites but with this community you will be able to race every night at VERY well organized events/leagues with only like minded people.

I am into GT5 at the moment but will have to see how long it lasts as the game itself is very arcade in terms of settings. The driving is ok'isch and graphics are great but thats it. Will see.
