well my printer is not printing. it goes through the whole process. and it acts like its printing. but when the page comes out its blank. ive put new ink in it and it still wont work. i dont know if anyone can even help me on this without actually seeing it. is it possible that something on my printer just went out or is there something wrong in my settings?

reinstall the print drivers and reboot ur computer.

If it's a relatively new Epson - or any other printer with the print head onboard rather than on the cartridge, it may be that the ink heads are dried up and need replacing

A new cartridge, or just filled up your cartridge with ink?

Usually when the printer puts the paper through with nothing on it, it's either because there's no ink or the printhead has got blocked.

Ok, I'm having issues with my Epson Stylus C84. Basically, my problem is that I cannot see my installed printer under Printers and Faxes in Windows XP. I think I've narrowed it down to the fact that I've disabled something in Services.msc that I should not have because I was trying to tweak my system using Black Viper's Service Pack 2 Tweaking Guide.

I guess my question is this, what services are absolutely vital to Windows XP to print to a local/network printer? I know I need print spooler and Universial Plug and Play(it's connected via USB). I know the drivers are installed but I cannot see the printer via Printers and Faxes.

EDIT: I think I fixed it for now. I simply right-clicked and selected refresh. I don't understand why all my printers disappeared though.
