Hello, I am confident that this will be the stupid question of the day.

When I go and do Private Testing and do laps around a track in a car, I do many laps until I am happy with the feel of it all. I then pause, and click on the exit option. When I come back some other time, any records, times etc are gone, as if I never did any laps in the track. The thing that catches my eye is that when I exit, it says "Are you sure you want to quit this session? Any progress will be lost" which tells me that I may be doing something wrong.

I just want to know how to keep my times, man.

This is exactly why we don't see our times when we go back to Private Testing a car/track. Would be cool if the game would save a top 10 or so, but no. Everything you do while on a Private Testing will be lost as soon as you come out to change any settings/car/track.

Don't quote me on this but I think only time-trial will save your best times for each car/track combo.
Time Trials was the only way I could get a time to save. I think private testing times, will only keep the times until you leave. Which kind of sucks when you spread out your testing multiple days, and trying to remember what your last times were, from the previous days.

I type my best times for each car on my ipad hehe. I wish they would just keep your top 10 times for each track in-game. At least time trial saves your best times.

Easier to just take a screen shot with the share button. The wonders of modern technology - what!

True, didn't think of that. Might still be better with a pad and pen if you're doing extensive testing. Might be more of a pain fishing through pics than thumbing down a page of info.
