hey i'm just wondering.. what decides what car you win after a certain series race? like.. i read in the prize guide that in beginner mode if i win the Type R challenge thing i can get the new model integra but instead after spending about an hr on that.. they gave me a crappy eg6?!
 
It's random. It spins the wheel and gives you what you get. There is no way to infulence or choose which car you recieve.

People have spent literally hours testing this theory with hundreds of reloads, and then done statistical analysis of the results. It's random.
 
This is 0000 im new to but when you are looking at the
wheel you will realise that there a cercle that keeps flashing
under the cars that you can win when the cercle is under
the car you want press X and hopefuly you will earn the
car you want.

Im telling the truth and it works for me.:)
 
I'm telling you. Unemployed but college-educated people who have lots of free time and who understand statistical mathematics have analyzed this question thoroughly. I mean that they have spent hundreds of reloads and hours of time trying to identify what factor decides the choice of prize car, and they have conclusively proven
it is completely random.

I'm sorry, that is completely and untterly false. It is a rumor that's been retold so many times it rivals the UFO crash in Roswell. Please stop repeating it.

Actually when I press the X bvutton when the shado is under the cars I want 25% of the time it works.:lol:

Beginner Type-R challenge gives you an Acura RS-X. ALWAYS.
 
bleh!! it didn't give me an acura rsx/integra!! it gave me a crappy eg6 hahaha..
so in otherwords.. i just gotta keep racing til it decides to award me the car of my choice through randomisation..??
 
Without wishing to be rude, is there any chance you can refer to whatever car you're talking about by name, rather than a chassis code? I haven't got the faintest idea what an "eg6" is.

Beginners' TypeR Meeting:
5 races, 2 laps each.
Tokyo R246, Grand Valley, Trial Mountain Reverse, Super Speedway, Tokyo R246 Reverse.
5000cr for a race win, prize money down to 4th.
10000cr for a series win.
Prize car: Acura RS-X Detroit version (x4).
 
They gave you an EG6? I cant remember ever getting that for a prize car. If you do the beginner Type R race, you should be getting the RSX...

EG6 refers to that ugly civic hatchback.
 
Ah. The Honda Civic SiR-II (EG).

It's not a prize car for the Beginner Type-R - they are ALL Acura RS-X Detroit show versions. In fact, it's not a prize car at all...

I looked on the car prize list it shows a integra/rsx but.. i got a civic.. haha.. that's all i'm complaining about..
and yes.. it was type-R challenge beginner league
 
You have the Japanese version, don't you.

The RSX isn't in the Japanese version, that's why you get the Eg Civic. Well it's a fair swap, you get the Diablo, but not the RSX. :D

Damn it i would much rather the diablo over the RSX any day. Damn japanese and there better version of the game :irked: :lol:
 
yeh it's Japanese.. -_-"... but still omg.. diablo? wot the.. it's a civic haha and i got it twice lol.. i'm sad now..
 
No - he means that you can actually win the Diablo at some point in the game. No other region gets this. The Americans can access it by technical jiggery-pokery (cheating), but the Europeans/Aussies don't even have that - the car body was removed from our disc altogether. Gits.

but i'm only like 13% way through atm lol.. so yeh.. it's gonna take a while..
