Prize for "news" photo?

So, as I logged on to GTP last time it was with my nice Peugeot 206 WRC on Eiger as the latest news. Of course being on the news page itself is a prize, but I was wondering if there is some kind of reward, like if a real photographer shoots a front-page shot he/she get's money? It doesn't matter if there isn't, it's just of interest
