After doing a lot of races I have found that if you want prize money in B-Spec races that the Dream Car Championship is likely the best of the bunch. Endurance races pay lots of XP but little cash in B-Spec mode.
The Dream Car pays just over 22K per race and another 200k+ for the championship for a total of about 300k almost 10 times what you get in the endurance races but you do have to start him 5 times and make sure he has the right tires for the weather or lack there of.
Using the FGT Bob will destroy these opponents in record time and earn about 60kxp and 300k credits. As B-Spec goes this seems to be as good as it gets for a reasonable amount of time.
Edit: Actually now that I think about it you could get more money over a period of time buy letting him abort the last race in the series having won the first 4 he will give up the 22k but still get the 200k bonus and can restart the championship sooner. This will allow him to run it 5 times in the same time as it would take to do it 4 times running all the races and net you an extra 200k in roughly the same period of time.
Udate:All times were set using a 26th level driver unattended driving an FGT with dirty oil in need of an engine rebuild and a chassis refresh.
