I spent quite a bit of time trying to find a car that would make this a decent race. Tried out probably 10 cars that were in the general class. I usually like to use the cars stock rather than just loading them up.
Ended up running this with the Toyota GT-One Road Car stock except for T5s. The general pattern of the races was to weed through the pack for a lap (I started at the back except for some of the later races), get out to a lead, then pit and have to chase down the 787 and the GT-One race car.
Some excellent races including 2 won by fractions (literally .04 one race) using a bit of blocking to stay in front on the finish stretch. Special Stage Route 11 II was probably the toughest. I won them all except Tokyo, that race relies too much on speed and I couldn't overcome the horsepower advantage.
I'd recommend a run at this series with the Toyota GT-One Road Car. I might run it again with a tire that will last all 10 laps to see what happens.
