i played the demo, but it was pretty buggy. i think it was a very early test. the cars were transparent and stuff. I thought it was actually pretty good. you were driving a supra and you could really lay down the rubber in that thing. It was really hard with a keyboard though so i cant really say how good it was.

I bought DTM Race Driver, but i was so dissapointed with it that i've returned it to the store.

So i vote GT3. I think it's still the best racer available.

I keep hearing good responses on this game's graphics but all the pictures i've seen look really bad some of the cars look like spheres with designes on them to me. Is this game better in person or something?

Pro Race Driver Is more of a challage. GT3 was to simple for me. I would just pull away from the grid, But in PRD the group stays with you. AMAZING!

Well the crap quality is just because of crappy connections with the wires, or there is not a good digital camera. The screenshots look bad only for that reason. In game is way bettter.

I have both and GT3 is a lot better, the only thing good about PRD is that there are more cars on the grid.

I thought long and hard about this - and then I realised I still play GT3, and I haven't had Pro Race Driver out for ages - in fact, I play TOCA2 on the PC more than I play Pro Race Driver.

Graphics were disappointing, and the driving model was a bit of a disaster - to the point that it ruined the racing. TOCA2 had a decent physics model and it had fantastic racing - big braking duels, blocking by the AI, going around the outside, payback punts - it was the peak of the series, IMO.

If only GT3 had great AI - even the lack of damage would be okay then...

Mind you - the signs from GT Concept were promising - I had a bit of a duel with an Astra where it actually put a couple of good moves on me - including one beauty around the outside at Autumn Ring that would rate as the best I've seen in a Gran Turismo game.

the ai in PRD is suposed to be better, so all those who whinge all the time about gt3 AI should buy this game :p

It has damage, gt3 doesnt. but it aint as pretty...
just remember this for gt4 when it comes out. there are tradeoffs for those thing gt3 lacks that you want. :)

hmm, well GTC is quite good, but how'd you get an Astra vat? With an X-port?

Oh, i thought you meant a normal Astra (stock). Silly me. :)
