PROBLEM: Cannot see when a friend is in a lobby

Hey guys,

I searched through the forum here but I didn't find a similar thread so I guess nobody else got this problem.

Me and a friend of mine lately figured out that we cannot see when someone of us is racing in a lobby i.e. when he is racing in a lobby I cannot see the yellow button in the community. We tried this yesterday the other way around and he couldn't see this yellow button either. Does anybody got the same problem?
We unfriended and refriended but this didn't work either.

Any suggestions?

Have your friend joins a lobby while you ar both in GT5, then reset your PS3 and start up GT5 again. See if that works.
 
Lock if you see the yellow icon, If not go back where you can choose: Arcade, GTtv, Career. Go in career again and then you have to see the yellow icon.
If thats does not work go back to an older update and then go back to the new version, Try that. Hope it helps.

i love gt5

Thanks guys, we finally got it after several more attempts.

Btw, the yellow icon was not showing up at any time.
