problem downloading update

hi guys.
I'm currently trying to download the update for gt6 but due to the size of the update and the inconsistent connection i have, I'm really struggling to get it. my connection drops before it can download. i think the furthest i got yet was around 40% :(

I've been trying to look for a torrent file on the internet on my pc to download it and possibly transfer it onto the ps3 but to no avail...

can anyone on here help me out with a link or any tips? Thanks for any help :)
 
I can, sadly, only help as much as saying that downloading the update on a computer isn't possible for any game on the PS3. :boggled:
 
Don't you have an option of downloading from the internet or another device?

Finding a 1 gb device is a concern of course as the game tends to update entirely and not just a small patch.
