Problem w/ changed views while online racing

Recently while racing online I've
had a problem that I can't figure out :irked:

As the race is staging and the
count down clock runs out, my view
point reverses and i'm driving
forward but looking backwards :crazy:

I leave the room and reopen
and it doesn't go away, the only
thing that cure's it is a cold reboot :grumpy:

Has anyone else had this problem
and is there a cure, it's very frustrating :banghead:
 
Sounds like
your controller
has a sticky
button of some
description.

BTW, you don't need to press enter/return every few words. The text will wrap when it gets as far as it can.

That's the way I like to
type in my posts, I find
it easier to read than scanning
the whole page . :)

As to the sticky button,
I use a G 27 and I've also tried
the change view button but it
dosen't go back to the forward
view it is still looking backwards :irked:

Yes, I mean it's not as if this is the first time anyone had a particular style in posting. :rolleyes: Too many lots of the regulars do, and some are actually difficult to read!!!


Anyway, yeah I would say sticky button somewhere would get my vote.

There must be a button for this on the G27? :confused:

Put G27 in the subject title maybe it'll get the attention of someone who might know about that.

But about your problem, I'd try to map the 'View back' button to another button, or don't map it at all, and see if it still happens. Because the only common problem here would be a sticky button or something.

It's the weirdest thing, it's not
like u are looking backwards in
the regular view change, but in
every one of the views the aspect
is still looking backwards but driving
forward :crazy:

I've put LPS dry lube on all
my controllers buttons. :irked:

The fact I have to reboot to clear
the trouble say's something in
the system is wiggin' out. I just want
to avoid doing a re install or something :grumpy:

Actually I use both, the DS3 for
menu selection and the G27 for
actual driving.

This dosen't happen all the time
just after a period of racing normally
all the sudden it swithches and u
have 2 reboot to clear, it seems to be
when the systems switches into the
race mode :)
 
I use ds3 as controller 1 and g27 as controller 2 also. Never had this problem!

What happens if you hit the rearview button? Does it look forward again?
