Problem with CENTER tags

I know you are busy person, Jordan, and you have better things to do than this, but I would like you to know about this, if you already don't. Today, I was replying to a thread on the GT4 forum. The post itself contained a few CENTER tags. I submitted it, and everything goes okay, as usual. A few seconds later, it comes to my mind I have forgotten to write something in the post, so I edit it, but (as usual for me), most of the CENTER tags disappear. This is how it looks like:

That image, in question, was taken once I was editing the post for the second time, after I edited it and the tags disappeared. The red rectangles mark the places where the CENTER tags should be. I expect you to know about this, since its something that happens to me frequently, and frankly, can be a real pain in the butt if I have to edit a post with 50+ images. I did a search, but didn't found anything about this on the Site Feedback subforum.

You only needed to open and close the CENTER tags in that post, not put them after every line. The forum software automatically removes any unecessary tags. The ones highlighted in your image were unecessary, so they were automatically removed.

I don't understand what you were trying to achieve by putting them on every single line

That explains it, and now that I check, it works. But earlier today that didn't worked. Why? Perhaps I did not even bothered to check how it looked without the tags?
