Hi

Earlier this week I decided to buy the CSR value XL pack, including CSR wheel, CSR Elite pedals & shifter set.

So today I wanted to try it out, with my Xbox 360 and Forza Motorsport 4. Unfortunately I am experiencing a major problem. The brake keeps getting activated on and off, like a pulsing motion. This is without touching anything. It makes it impossible to drive.

I did a bit of google-research, and it seems many people have this problem. Many suggested to connect it to the PC, to check if the problems still was there without the wheel and with USB-connection. I tried this, and it worked great on the PC. I then thought the problem was the PS/2-cable, so I tried another. I still had the problem! I have now tried with several cables.

Does anyone know what is wrong, and if I could do anything? I'm frustated that I spend this much money, and it doesn't work :(

THANKS! :)

Thomas.

Are you trying to use the little short cable that has an RJ12 on one end and PS2 on the other? If so, don't. It's junk.

Thansk. I've tried that now! Don't know if it works yet. Unfortunately, it now goes crazy in the Forza Motorsport 4 menu. It's like B is always pressed, so it keeps going back in the menu.

In regard to the cable, I forgot they used the same connections on the CSR wheel and CSR Elite pedals as the old ones... Sorry about that.

Sounds like you need to contact Fanatec. They've already visited the thread, so now they have a head start.

I have contacted them, but no solution yet :( Very annoying - I expected to get a good wheel for that much money, crycrycry.
