Hello all! I'm new here, as i am new to the whole playstation scene with GT5.

I faced a little bit of a problem when i purchased the car+track pack (including redbull car & spa etc. )

I buy em, install. All ok.

Then i go set up my ps3 to living room where i normally play. And boom. Big yellow ! marks with all my new dlc cars. I't says you must re-install em.

I didn't know how to do it, i checked that all my installions were completed etc.

Then i go back to my computer desk, where i put the ethernet cable to ps3 and start thinking..still big ! marks around my cars.

So i go and buy the car only pack, it worked like a charm, rebooted the ps3 and still works - i thought it was ok now.

Sooo back to living room and boom...! on every car.

Long story short, my questions ;

Won't it let me play em "offline"? Do i have to go buy 10m of ethernet cable to wire em to living room?

How do i re-install cars/tracks? It won't let me use em now even if i put the ethernet back on. It just says re-install etc. It says on downloadable contect area that installs completed etc..:ouch:

Thanks for your help!

and sorry for about bad english..im from finland :)

Did you install them using the massive red button on the main GT5 screen?

To re-install you go to the big down arrow in the GT5 page where you select GTlife, arcade or whatever. It's the furthest right icon. Otherwise I don't know.

Yep, i installed em using that big red button.

It did not let me any options to reinstall em since all dlc installs are completed, there is no option for re-installing it? And if i do somehow manage to re-install em, i connect it to my ethernet and do the magic, go back to livingroom without ethernet and same problem occurs i think...?

I have the same problem and no idea how to fix it.

I've already tried to unistall GT5 and re-install it again. But it did not work!

My internet kept going down yesterday and that stopped me from purchasing the DLC cars (October DLC) from the Dealership.

Kept getting the "you need to re-install the DLC" message.

Now my internet is up I can now purchase them. So my take on the matter is that,to buy the DLC (October DLC) cars from the Dealerships you have to be online.

Perhaps its the only way to make them available to purchase (dealership) without having to pay real money for DLC again.

Yeh, i did that whole thing internet on and got the cars up and running at tracks, but when i went offline ( moved to living room ) boom...install cars pls...

I've found a solution!

I had an "older" backup file of GT5 on an USB stick. I deleted the current game file in the XMB menu under "Memory Data Utility" and paste the old copy.

After that I was able to install all packages in the GT main menu under "Downloadable Content". Until now it works without problems!

too bad i dont got back up files since havent had the console even for a full week yet :P

So does it work with you if u go offline like me and the cars are there etc? :)

No. ://

Exept the cars from "Car Pack 2" all other cars are unavailable. Spa and Kart Space are also missing! :yuck:

Well, got it working. Had to put my wlan on for ps3 and it worked then. All good now. :)

Im having a problem, where Kart Space is not available for me, and Spa-Francorchamps is! I dont have a backup save. :(

Anyone have a solution? This sucks, I pay for content and im not allowed use it
