I was just browsing the forums when I saw something rather odd.

PS3 forum: Last post today 9:44am when actually right now it is 8:44am.

The bottom of the page says all times are set to GMT 10+ which is my zone. Perhaps you need to reset the clock, dont know but I'm just informing you:).

It could be because tonight we change our clocks ahead an hour.

It shouldn't affect us, I have just noticed the same problem.

Yep, I noticed it too. We are GMT+11 and it's an hour ahead.

Do you guys have the Daylight Savings Time setting turned to "automatic" or "always on"? Most parts of America use DST, and at 12:00 AM March 8 we set our clocks an hour forward--12 becomes 1.

If you don't use DST you should turn that setting off.

It isn't March 8 yet where I am so our clocks in the US haven't moved forward yet. But in Aussieland you are in March 8, which means that you must have DST set to "automatic" or "on".

We're in DST now and i think it ends in a couple of weeks, i have the automatic setting, it's on GMT 10.5 now (which is right) and at the end of DST it goes to GMT 9.5. It's 12:04pm here and it says 1:03pm. :odd:

The clock gets confused with regards to Australia/NZ timezones. (NZ especially, we're +13(!) GMT at times)

I have my clock set to GMT +12 (ie NZ time) and auto-detect yet GTP is saying it's 3:51pm when it's actually 2:51. Turning DST to "always off" makes GTP show the correct time, but that defeats the purpose of having an automatic option.

Blame vBulletin for not coding their clock properly. :p

Here is same thing, I have GMT Greenwich/Lisbon timezone...and the clock is one hour ahead...

Keep in mind that the server is located in Eastern Standard Time, and has its clock set accordingly. The forum software then calculates the offset based on the region you set in your profile. I'm going to assume the software is applying DST compensation for you since you are, by its calculations, already past the date when the server's clock should change. However, the server's clock has not changed yet, and therefore you are getting an incorrect time regardless of the fact that you do not observe DST.

If that is the case, everyone's clocks should return to normal after 2 AM, EST.
