Problem with Main Index...

Ok, it seems that every time I come to this site and go to the main index, a popup telling me that I have a new Private Message shows up. I click it, get tranfered to my inbox, and there aren't any new messages. Can someone tell me what's going on? (If this is the wrong forum, please move it...)

Have you tried deleting your cookies or cleaning out your temporary internet files?

The Private Messaging system seems curiously immune to updating itself as your session continues. You could try logging out of the site, and then back in again, by using the "Log Out" option in the top right of the page. This will clear only the GTP cookie, thus not trashing all your other settings!

That happens to me too sometimes, when i have more than one window open with GTP...
