Can anyone help me out? My DFP used to work perfectly, but now that I want to start GT4 up again, it isnt working. Wehn I start GT4 up, the wheel's 2 lights turn on, but the wheel doesnt do that startup turn it used to (when the game's turned on, its supposed to turn all the way left and right and center itself, and its not anymore). The wheel isnt responding when i drive, but the game is responding to the wheel (when i drive, my DS2 controller's analog wont steer the car but it can accel/decel the car, exactly what it used to do when the wheel worked)

I think maybe the power isnt getting to the wheel, but ive tried 2 different outlets and still nothing, anyone got any suggestions? This wheel is still less than 4 months old too.... ..👎

Yes, same thing happens when you dont connect power to it. Maybe your power cord (with transformer pack) has failed, have you checked the voltage at the DFP end of the cord? (obviously a voltmetre/multimetre would be needed to check that)

no, im unable to check all that, maybe i'll call radio shack to see if they hold the pwer chords?

Yeah radio shack would have power cords to suit but you maybe buying something you dont need. Maybe you could ask them to test yours and if its faulty you will buy one.

Or you can use your tongue to check for problems... Just stick the plug into... :scared: Just kidding...

Well you might want to check with your retailer if they provide any warranties. I also heard Logitech replaces either a defective part, or the whole set, but in rare circumstances (product must not be subject to abuse... blablabla...) and you must be within the warranty period. You might want to post your question directly to their website. The guys there helped me out when my DFP failed to work. You might want to try what I did. Try using the second USB port to test if the first one is damaged (if that's the case, then you'll have to contact Sony...).

I did try USB port #2 in the PS2, still read that the USB was connected just like the first one, but the wheel didnt respond to any of my input, therefore the game didnt take any input from the wheel, but the game knew it was there. Same with Live for Speed.
