problem with racing suits

on the german touring car championship[seasonal], if you click on the prizes, it says ;

"1st ; Racing Suit
Random Pick
Receive Every Time Conditions Are Met"

so i ran the indy race, and i placed first, but i only got a racing helmet? does this happen to everybody? or am i doing something wrong

Make sure you've "highlighted" the Indy race before looking at the prizes, it sounds like you were looking at the first race and saw the prizes for that instead(hope that makes sense)

second and fourth races are usually for the suits.

Not your fault, the way the game is made its EASY to misunderstand what you're reading.

U get a helmet every time when u win a "regular" event where u get a payout every race (grind), but just win "everything" in the series when its a, lets say, timetrial event, where u start at the end and have to overtake all cars with sometimes bad cars, the difficult ones i mean, like the Impreza/Fiat 500 events lately. But sometimes its just not clear what they mean, its written strangely sometimes. Cheers lads

The helmet is 1st prize the paint is second and the horn is third you only get one of them depending on which place you got.
