Problem with some courses. Wont start, help?

Hi! I recently got a ps3 super slim and bought GT 5 Academy Edition. I got a problem with the Cape Ring courses and its bugging the hell out of me. Everytime i try to start one of them it looks like the game crashes.... the loading bar is moving and the names on the top of the screen keep moving as well but the actual race wont start. Does anyone know if I can fix this?
Also, I havn't installed the game on my ps3 because i only have a 12gb system.... could this be the problem?

I would be forever greatful for some answers cuz there are some cups i can't finish because the Cape Ring courses are on them... :(

My best suggestion would be to upgrade your ps3 via the links in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKGV6H_NC2I for about 40 euros.

Then install your game data. To be honest I do not think 12gb is even enough for all the updates and the disc install itself.. Other than that.. I've heard GT5 has issue on the Super Slim, but i've heard no detail as to the "exact" detail. Have you modded anything though? That can always cause random issues like that.

12 GB system? You sure it's not 120 GB? Sorry I see they made 12 GB systems. Go buy a new hard drive.
 
Yeah 12gb isn't even enough for a GT5 install, why do they even sell with that much space, its useless to just about every user of a PS3.

Also, everytime you go to a new track or whatever it installs as you load the track. Maybe the hdd is filled already and that's why the cape ring wont work?

yeah, thats the thing... I still got like 3 gb and i can install other tracks but not Cape Ring.
And next on my to do list is to get a new hard-drive.

No mods have been done to the system.

And it was a birthday gift so... :P

Go look for a used 500 GB or whatever hard drive from an old PS3.Problem solved
