I've only had my PSP for a few days, so I'm kind of unfamiliar with its habits. Anyway, I was not able to find a solution to the following problems, and I wonder if anyone has done so or is struck by the same trouble.

Browsing the PS store for a few free demos, I ran into the following problem for the first time yesterday evening, and it has become worse today: when I tried to download the free "advanced demo" of "Everybody's Golf 2" for PSP, the system only presented me error code "80435061 - download failed" repeatedly. This would also happen with other game demo downloads. On a few tries, the download would actually start, but after a few seconds, it was cut off, and I flew out of the store and ended up at the settings menu -> USB connection for whatever reason. Also, the download of a movie trailer from the store worked flawlessly.

I asked Google and found out that it might be a temporary overload of the store, which would pass. So I tried again this morning. Now however, the system did not only refuse to start downloading, it froze on me right before the download should have begun. Total freeze of the PSP, nothing to do except to take the battery out or wait a few seconds for it to cut out and then restart it.

So I gave it some more time to sort things out. But now, when trying to download a game from the store, the screen just goes black and says "An error has occurred (80431075)". This error seems to be connected to the remote play function, which I've never used and also don't right now.

As for the general circumstances, I have a working WI-FI connection, the PSP (3000) has the latest firmware installed and works flawlessly otherwise.

Yes, it is working by now. If I remember correctly, I also got a message that the store is under maintenance a few days ago (not connected to the above incidents though). I just wonder why there's no proper error message when the store isn't functioning properly.
