I think TT means that Quick Match has a tendency to crash, so he's calling it Quick Crash now.
I've been experiencing track loading issues since the 1.13 update. Basically, I click Start Race and the game plays a song twice before it actually loads, if it loads. I've had to manually restart the machine a few times, and a couple other times the system locked up so badly that the power button stopped functioning and I had to manually unplug it from the wall.
I had not experienced those issues before the update.
Now that 1.13 has been out for a while I am finding a lot of disconnect issues when in lobbies. It is not just me but a lot of my friends too. It is getting to the point where it is severely impacting online racing.
Example. Last night, I joined a friend's room as #2. Halfway through first race he (the room owner) was DCed and I became the new host. He re-joined and said because I had the full set of connection bars I should stay host. Next race we finished and just as I went to my garage to change settings I was DCed. Number #3 on original list (#2 to me) became new host. I had difficulty in getting back into the room so I gave up and went elsewhere. Not long after that I saw he went offline and then a few minutes later came back on so he was obviously DCed as well. Then about 20 minutes later I saw all the friends in that room go off line as they obviously all gave up as well.
This is not an isolated instance either as it seems to be becoming the norm.
In the second room I joined with a another regular friend we raced all night (about 4 hours) with no problems except that another friend had about 5 disconnections. He was getting a little bit peeved by that time believe me ;-)
So my assumption is 'now that 1.13 has fixed on-line car sound issues it has now plagued us with unstable connections and lobby servers'. Coincidence? Maybe but knowing how PD operates I am very suspicious that it is linked.
What is everyone's thoughts and experiences on this?
