I am no way a noob at this game, i'm pretty good in my opinion but for some reason i cant get the hang tuning the cuda. I keep getting times roughly around this area:

0-1/4 Mile: 10.838
0-60mph: 2.713
0-100mph: 6.169 :banghead:🤬 WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!

Your probably no where near the shift point on this car. Test out shifting at a lower rpm :)

Exactly. If im not mistaken you should be shifting around 6k.

Another question... are you launching in first gear?

Auto!?!?!?! In a Cuda? O.o I about passed out, the Cuda almost loses its pulse after 6300 and barely pulls to the next gear in auto.

It'd shift more like 5500 at most.

Agreed, I needed to use a longish (higher top speed than I wouldve figured) transmission and shift early at a low rpm. But that's just what I found so far, I'm terrible at muscle cars, I'm still .200 off the best times

Its like i said in the other thread, doing the countdown launch trick in the cuda shaves off .110 or more. so if you tuned the car around the launch trick you could get those sick times, but the car wouldnt be ideal for indy

here are my times:

No launch trick: 9.917
Launch trick: 9.810

Well i haven't even raced it yet xD, well 'A real driver knows exactly what's in his car'

Brian: What's the retail on one of those?
Ferrari Driver: More than you can afford pal. Ferrari.

' Do you know who I am, boy?'

Dom: I asked for a ten second car, not a ten minute car
Jesse: You could push it across the line; or tow it
Brian: pop the hood..
(hood gets popped)
Jesse: 2jz oh SH:censored:T!

Are we going to end up quoting every line from the movie lol :sly:

Brian: What was the deal back there?
Dom: It's a long story.
Brian: We have a twenty mile hike. Humor me.

Im not going to lie fast and the furious pretty much sparked my interest for cars, comment if you agree.

It was pretty good but I haven't seen it since I was younger, I barely remember it. I just really loved the look of the Ford Mustang and our truck, thats how I got into cars.

Almost had me? You never had me, you never had your car!

Granny shifting not double clutching like you should. Your lucky a 100 shot of nos didnt blow the welds on the intake.
 I love that movie. Especially cuz one of the main cars was the same kind of Eclipse GST i had.

'Now me and the mad scientist are going to rip apart the block... And replace the piston rings you fried..'
(almost had me?)
'Ask any racer. Any real racer. It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning.'

Was a classic but I tried watching it recently and it was so cheesy I almost curdled..
