Hi

I'm trying to upload a picture in the forum but I'm receiving the answer - Invalid File. The file is .jpg. Can someone tell me please what shall I do to upload a file or if I'm doing something wrong please?

I'm using the attach function (the paper clip). I tried to upload them also by using the Insert Image function but it asks me for the URL. I've tried to put them on flickr but the pictures are still not showing up. Any help please?

Thanks

PS: I've tried looking for a similar thread but to no avail.

Use Imageshack instead:tup:

Yeah, you will no longer be able to attach images directly to your posts - please use an image hosting service such as ImageShack, TinyPic, or PhotoBucket instead.

I noticed I can't open jpg attachments aswell now. Does this mean jpeg all attachments from the past are unavailable to view?

It appears vBulletin no longer displays the thumbnails for attached image files, but they should all still be available.

Quoting myself from the GTP X Bug Thread;

Looking through some of my older posts, it appears that all the image attachments are broken - although the files still exist. I can download, but not view the attachments by manually entering them in the address bar

It appears that you can now only upload rar and zip files? Is this a bug, or was it changed by design?

So I guess It's time to host the images elsewhere and edit the appropriate posts.

Took me a while to remember where the error was. Anyway it was trying to view this image.

I can't find any other jpeg attachments on posts so I can't confirm it.
It seems you are prompted to download the image files now, but I didn't have any problems accessing the image post that you referenced.

Yes, you'll need to use another image hosting service. I'm not sure if you've changed things already (though that appears to not be the case according to the image locations as of this writing), but for the record they do load fine for me. Keep in mind that the images have always been broken for guests.
