Problems with Ad-aware and Spybot

Whenever I try to download updates for Ad-Aware SE 1.06 (I have the freeware version) it won't download.

Also, everytime I scan with Spybot Search and Destroy, there is a piece of Malware that pops up called "DSO Exploit". I delete it everytime I scan, but it keeps popping up as the only piece of malware. Is this just adware, or is it something more serious?

Is the adaware issue hiccuping after 5%? I know I had that issue and it related to the adaware server. It has since fixed itself. I know of a handful of others that had similar issues.
