problems with formula gt time trial

every time i almost finish a lap on indionapolis, whenever the ghost replay crosses the line ahead of me gt5 just stops.
im going by the tenth place french ghost replay.
everything but the track scenery stops, while flags and spectators carry on moving. it even loads new music tracks, and the ps3's xmb works fine.
anyone got a clue what its doing?
 
Try someone elses ghost. Some ghost replays seem to be corrupted and never work. Even your own ghost you save can glitch as it crosses the finishline the first time, stuff freezes in time and all you can do is quit the game.

Now If you try all ten guys and cant get a ghost to work I would say its no longer possible to chase a top ten guy which is a shame. PD needs to fix this glitch, it seems to be getting progressivly worse to me.
 
thanks. I was using kurogoma's ghost as he also uses a ds3, but because he dropped to 15th the ghost replay was lost. incidentally, i was just 2.7 seconds behind the french ghost on the last sectro i completed before it crashed. would make me about sub p700
