My moms PC keeps freezing without a blue screen.

She wrote down the times of the freezing, so that I could check in the the Windows logs.

I found that at the time of the freezing the log gives me the following message :

If anyone can help me, and if you need more info, ask me, I have the PC running now.

Sounds like an issue with some kind of driver with power managment.

When does it crash?
Does it do it after not touching it for a while?
After adjusting the brightness on the screen?
Battery gets low

Well, it crashed while playing games, and the games my mom play are not the most demanding kind... but while scrolling through the rest of the logs, I found that the graphics card driver crashes a lot, but without causing any other issues. It just restarts the driver, and nothing noticeable happens. I also looked up the update history of the driver, and it crashed with all of the last 5 drivers.

I have now removed the card, and just use the onboard, and I hope that this solves it, for now.

Driver crash is usually because the card is operating outside of acceptable range at a set voltage. If you have it overclocked either dial it back down or increase the voltage. If you're not overclocked use driver sweep/regedit method of removing the drivers and update them to the newest available. If that doesn't work increase the voltage.

Well, it isn't OC'ed. I removed the drivers completely, sweep it, regcleaned it, it got the cleaning works, I think there is something wrong with either the card, or the mobo, I just need to find a different card to test it. But for now it will run without the card.

The pc has gone through a day without any problems.. And the games my mom plays are still working, so I will keep it on the onboard graphics.

Thanks for responding guys.
