Problems with Steering Wheel

Hey guys, I got this Guillemot Racing Wheel(ferrari licensed and all) for my PS1 a while back and it works great in GT2. Problem is that when I hook it up to the PS2 nothing happens :( Which quite frankly sucks quite a bit, when I got my PS2 with GT3 included I was all ready and had bolted down the wheel and all :) I thought PS2 was supposed to be backward compatible with PS1 peripherals.

So my question is: Is there anything I can do to get it working? Any settings or something, I really want this to work.


Edit: This is a link to a review on the wheel, although it is the PC version it looks exactly the same.

i wish i could help :D

you'd have to find out if the manufactor made it compatible for the PS2 too
 
I am thinking that gt3 is only compatibal with the USB steering wheels, have you looked in options? cause it says like bla bla bla USB bla bla bla it was a big bummer when i founf that out at my friends, cause he bought one for it and it waint usb :banghead:

Yay :) For some reason it started working when I came home to try it out :) Last time I tried it out it did´nt do anything, now all of a sudden everything works with it :)
