On GTP Lite where is the express reply box and with the custom title how come I can't make it blank......it comes up with underlines. :odd: - That is the thatsodd smilie!

And also in GTP Lite how come you can't access the rest of the smilies!

The following text does not change it back to the default layout 'You are using the "GTP Lite" style. Click here to return to the default style.' - It takes you to the GTP Lite info thread.

So I am afraid to go back to the default style

Express reply is not part of the default vBulletin templates. I might add it in to GTP Lite later when I have more time.

That's a very good question - I can't explain that. :odd: How are you trying to make it blank?

...which gives you instructions on how to change it back to the default style. I thought providing instructions would be more user friendly than simply directing the user to their options page, without any real directions on what to do.
 
Jordan, I don't feel like making another thread so I'll ask here.

Whenever I arrive at the mian page of GTP I have always clicked the "log-in" button. Now whenever I click on it I get the following message : The GTPlanet Forums will be temporarily offline Sunday while we upgrade and renovate the site. Unfortunately, due to a comedy of errors, these changes have caused tremendous delays that were not expected. The forums will hopefully be back online within the next 12 hours. Once again, I apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience. When do you think this will be fixed? I'm just wondering. Thanks.

That's very strange. I can't figure out why it would now be translating that as an underscore, nothing really has changed there, but it seems to show the underscore in posts as well.:confused:

That's still the old site, which hasn't been updated for GTP5 yet. I hope to get that online sometime tomorrow, so just hang in there!
 
Oh, I would have thought making another thread would have been more of a pain. I mean, thread after thread after thread. I just didn't want to add to the pile. I'll keep that in mind though. :mischievous:
 
I've noticed in Aol and I think also in IE that I still have to log in even though I have my options set to use cookies. Does not logging out affect this or is it just a glitch?

Yes, if you log out you won't have any cookie set to your computer.

I usually don't log out, I just close the window. Yet i still have to log in when I come back to the site. In GTP4 I didn't have to, I was almost always logged in when I came back. I'll wait a few days to see if it is fixed, seeing as how I'm sure there are more important things to be done.

Have you tried logging out, deleting your cookies and clearing your temporary internet files, and then logging back in again? That should take care of everything.
