This is a mighty long shot here, but what the heck, it's a GTP service so I'll use it.

For sale - professional quality drafting table / desk combination in very good condition. This is not one of those dinky tube frame things they sell at the craft store. This is a large (approximately 60"w x 48" deep) combination desk and drafting table from an architect's office, and is rock solid. Made by Hamilton in metallic grey steel and honey maple, on one side it has a large drawing board, while the other side is a pull out desk surface, which tucks under the drafting board when not in use.

The drafting table tilts from flat horizontal to almost vertical and also moves up and down about 12". Quickly adjusted via a foot pedal and a hand lever, and spring loaded for ease of movement. The drawing surface has a vinyl board cover in good shape, and a counterbalanced Mayline parallel bar. There is a pencil tray at the bottom now but I will also throw in an aluminum Spiroll tube which protects large drawings. The desk side has a pull-out maple top in a nice stained finish. There is a wide flat drawer for drawing storage, as well as 2 pencil/tool drawers and a file drawer for hanging files. I also have a tall office chair/stool with footrest available if interested.

The table is currently empty and partially disassembled for ease of transport, but it's complete and can be reassembled in 15 minutes. I can help deliver within a reasonable area - near PA/DE state line.

Drafting table? Hmm...if I run behind, will I go faster?

ARRGH! and I have no money!

i'm a Draftsman by Profession, specializing in Mechanical drafting. i could use a chance to dig my kit out again. it's even the setup I worked with in tech school. we were trained with line SIZE, rather than line weight (i've since figured out line weight)

it'd be better than the ancient oak jobbies i worked on. they had to be sawn down a couple feet!

How much can you spare? PM me an offer. I'm about 45 minutes south of Lancaster.

SOLD! Thanks, Craigslist. I should have asked for more money. I expected to have to repost it about 5 times, but I actually got 4 or 5 bites within 24 hours.
