Having only had GT4 for a little under a month I'm in a bit of a rut here! I am on 30% complete and need to win the GT all stars? (the last event in the Professional league) to open up the Extreme Races section. The problem I have is this:-

What car do I use to beat those racecars, upto yet I haven't won a car that's fast enough to be a contender. I have a few racecars like the Camaro, Fairlady Z, 350Z etc. but nothing on par with those Maclaren F1's, Peugeot 905's, Nissan R390's etc. etc.

I only have 1.7million credits, so which car would you guy's and gals reccomend?

A quick search would have found a multitude of threads on this topic. But while I'm here. You should be able to access the endurances. Take a solid 400+ hp car to El Capitan endurance and you'll win the Minolta. At first it will be overkill, until you're able to access other cars, and more experience, to return for more of a challenge.

Cheers! I'll give the El Capitan a go later.

BTW, I did attempt to search, but for some reason the search kept hanging!

That's understandable, there are quite a few threads discussing this event. And literally hundreds of posts. It would take a while in a search to compile them all.

Good plan to grab the Minolta. put tires on the rear one step harder than the front, grab the stage 4 turbo (just to be sure :) ) and yer a shoe in to win against that lineup.

Well, I am at 40% and still haven't run those races. So you should in theory be able to ge to 40% too without worrying about those races...

Go to the El Capitan endurance race and win the Minolta. That's by far the easiest way to win the series. Put superhards on the back and hards on the front. In most of the races it will give you enough tire endurance to go the whole race without pitting. Usually the cars that get ahead of you will pit halfway through the race so you can beat them easily. :sly:

Get the Minolta from the Endurance race, and use Super Hard on back, and Hard on front...

Put halfway through every race EXCEPT Hong Kong. Hong Kong track takes some strategy.
